To stir cayenne pepper into my peanut butter?

MrsBertMacklin · 10/11/2015 17:56

So sick of people at work nicking my peanut butter - I have NOT eaten 2 jars in a month.

Fuckers.

Yes, I could put it in my desk drawer, but why should I? Angry

DO IT.

Or laxatives...

MrsBertMacklin · 10/11/2015 18:01

They might not make the link between the PB and having the runs with laxatives - I want a clear message-sending device.

Something vile tasting, obviously foreign to the PB, that won't cause an allergy or illness is what I need.

You could mix in some food colouring maybe? I saw that tip on another forum - but to stop people pinching weird coloured milk.

Regarding the instant reaction I reckon cayenne pepper might be quite nice, like a satay sauce. Maybe half a tub of bisto or pack of stock cubes stirred in would do it. Or just completely overload it with plain old salt.

FlapSnaps · 10/11/2015 18:20

Soy sauce?

MrsBertMacklin · 10/11/2015 18:25

Fucktonne of salt sounds like the right solution. And a very small note stuck inside the lid: next time get your own, you thieving shit.

Another possibility is the liquid you buy to stop kids sucking their thumbs. Haven't tried it myself, but by all accounts, it tastes pretty foul (and is harmless) www.amazon.co.uk/Thum-Liquid-Stops-Sucking-Biting/dp/B0015TJPW4

SwedishEdith · 10/11/2015 19:22

I think it'd be gorgeous with cayenne so might nick even more.

SaucyJack · 10/11/2015 19:26

YABU. That sounds lovely!

Maybe try horseradish?

iklboo · 10/11/2015 19:33

I eat peanut butter with Mexicana chilli cheese. It's gorgeous. Cayenne mixed in sounds nice!

Wouldn't it stop you eating it though , if you spiked it?

HaydeeofMonteCristo · 10/11/2015 19:41

Another one thinking Cayenne would be quite nice in pb. Sorry!

SmokingGun · 10/11/2015 19:41

I put a shit ton of salt in my jam at work, never figured out who it was but they stopped eating my stuff.

Oh how I wish I had seen their reaction though.

Krampus · 10/11/2015 19:42

Buy Chilli Peanut Butter it's good.

RubbleBubble00 · 10/11/2015 19:47

hot sauce with some chilli smashed into it plus loads of salt

Oysterbabe · 10/11/2015 19:56

Keep it in your drawer.

WizzardHat · 10/11/2015 20:42

Salt, definitely, and stir it well in. I'd say fish sauce but the smell would give it away.
I told a friend about food colouring in her milk and it worked. Blue, black or green - they all looked pretty minging.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 10/11/2015 20:44

Try cinnamon, loads of it so its like eat a spoon of cinnamon.

peckforton · 10/11/2015 20:59

Put it in another jar and label it " Stool Sample"

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 10/11/2015 21:01

I'd be tempted to make it an actual stool sample of the feline or canine variety.

AngelicCurls · 10/11/2015 21:04

YABU, peanut butter is grim, Nutella all the way

peckforton · 10/11/2015 21:06

Taliz that,s a great idea my dog has peanut butter coloured stools lol

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 10/11/2015 21:16

Tis gross, but it'll teach em getting a mouth full of shit.

BoomChickenSoup · 10/11/2015 21:22

Vinegar? Or lemon juice?

Whoknewitcouldbeso · 10/11/2015 21:35

You can buy a Nutella jar lock on eBay for £10. Maybe you can decant your peanut butter into a Nutella jar each time and use the lock at work. Least then they would know you know and you will get to eat your food yourself.

Joys of pregnancy- I'm actually considering trying this.

I really wanted peas mixed with icecream before, but held back...

Maudofallhopefulness · 10/11/2015 21:49

Put toothpaste in it.
