FIFTEEN POUNDS(!!!) for NINE marshmallows! Yes I get that they've got your pictures of choice printed on them, but £15 for 9!

Fairylea · 05/11/2015 08:02

I haven't clicked on the link but isn't the company owned by Kate middletons brother ? Too much time and money on his hands :)

aprilanne · 05/11/2015 08:04

Chchchchangeabout · 05/11/2015 08:04

That's disgusting.

InQuiteAPickle · 05/11/2015 08:05

The same kind of people who spend hundreds and hundreds on cakes.

honeysucklejasmine · 05/11/2015 08:05

I think the answer is "not many people" as that company is not doing especially well if reports are to be believed.

As honeysuckle said - not many people if reports are true.

Sansoora · 05/11/2015 08:09

I did also just spend hundreds on a cake for dd1 18th too

No need to be embarrassed. You aren't the first and won't be the last.

memyselfandaye · 05/11/2015 08:09

Me too, in fact I'm ordering three and I wouldnt say I'm an idiot with little imagination and too much money.

Like pp poster said, each to their own, who cares what I spend my hard earned on?

foragogo · 05/11/2015 08:11

I know someone who did. they weren't very good, it felt weird biting a picture of a cute little.family member and all the dark photo ink looked horrible on your teeth. Really rubbish idea and infear for the company if this is all it does

diddl · 05/11/2015 08:12

I'm thinking not many as the business isn't doing very well, is it?

HaydeeofMonteCristo · 05/11/2015 08:12

DD would if given the chance. But she is 7.

CassieBearRawr · 05/11/2015 08:13

I spend a lot on marshmallows because I buy home made vegan ones. Not quite that much! But more than I've ever paid for marshmallows in my life.

MrsJayy · 05/11/2015 08:14

I bought them for an engagement present for dd thought it would be cute they were a bit rubbish waste of money.

catfordbetty · 05/11/2015 08:15

I saw an advert for this and thought it was odd that you were meant to eat the gift. I get the idea of a special photo on a t-shirt or mug or calendar but putting them on marshmallows seems weird to me.

diddl · 05/11/2015 08:15

Oops, did read the thread, sorry it's already been posted.

I don't think the idea is actually that awful tbh, it's no different to putting a pic on a cake really, is it, but maybe price/quality is what is letting it down?

ChinaSorrows · 05/11/2015 08:18

Yup. It's another Middleton company

Optimist1 · 05/11/2015 08:21

Well the company is owned by Prince William's BIL so that probably tells us the sort of person who'd spend £££s on marshmallows! And as others have said, the company is failing.
