FIFTEEN POUNDS(!!!) for NINE marshmallows! Yes I get that they've got your pictures of choice printed on them, but £15 for 9!

Cassie pleeeeeease can you say where you get vegan marshmallows?

diddl · 05/11/2015 08:26

Didn't JM also have a (personalised?) cake business?

And the other guy was something to do with Instagram?

The marshmallow thing is Boomf, isn't it?

I always think Bumf!

RubberDuck · 05/11/2015 08:27

You can get vegetarian marshmallows from Sweet Expectations (from scanning the ingredients list I think they are vegan as well?) www.sweetexpectations.co.uk/search.php?search_query=vegan+marshmallows&x=0&y=0

Sansoora · 05/11/2015 08:28

Well the company is owned by Prince William's BIL so that probably tells us the sort of person who'd spend £££s on marshmallows!

So what kind of person would that be?

nightsky010 · 05/11/2015 08:34

The same people who pay £9 for the small pack of 'special' Cherries I saw in M&S St Pancras?

Mintyy · 05/11/2015 08:35

A very silly person.

TheWildRumpyPumpus · 05/11/2015 08:36

If we're talking about wanky marshmallows then I recommend these guys. The blueberry and gin ones are something worth talking about!

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 05/11/2015 08:36

I always REALLY REALLY want these when I see the ad, and then I come to my senses.

GlitteryFluff · 05/11/2015 08:42
Blush I bought these for an anniversary present for dh. First ever pic of us, one of us when we got engaged, one when we got married, first holiday, pic taken the day we found out I was pregnant, first family pic when our ds was born etc etc you get the drift. He's really hard to buy for, and anything edible gets used eaten whereas other things don't and in the end we chuck them as we only live in a tiny one bed flat I thought they were cute. Change my Blush to a pokey out tongue and raspberry blows. I like them so ner!
WheelParrot · 05/11/2015 08:52

Are they allowed to print copyrighted images onto marshmallows and sell them?

BrianCoxReborn · 05/11/2015 09:07

Meh what do I know

I spend a fortune of wankee candles Grin

CoffeeTwo · 05/11/2015 09:19

One of these companies does it for a tenner and you can choose between marshmallows or chocolates. I think I'd spend a tenner on photo chocolates for a gift as it's something I'd like to receive.

RaptorInaPorkPieHat · 05/11/2015 09:19

I came on hoping it would be the cat marshmallows DD has been banging on about for the last year. Only available in Japan Sad

Dh and Ds2 would love those expensive marshamallows. bookmarks site for future reference

The cat marshamllows are cute - ds3 would love a dog version - preferably looking like our dog!

weeblueberry · 05/11/2015 09:46

Yeah I spend quite a lot of money on bath bombs that last 20 minutes so I can see why people would buy these tbh! Grin

Also I can see how it would be a cute thing for Christmas eve to have specials photos from the year for your hot chocolate so you can reflect on things. Not sure how it works with copyrighted images because I know she'd love Gruffalo marshmallows!

Mind you I'm the first to admit I spend money on crap...

LittleMissAIBU · 05/11/2015 09:51

I wouldn't spend that much when you can get the haribo ones in the pound shop, now I'm going to have to get some in town later!

those cat ones however, that's a different story!

momb · 05/11/2015 09:58

Are they the nice hand made marshmallows that are almost nougat or are they just square supermarket ones like you buy for toasting?

I was given some for my 50th - it was a great gift! You also get a card with the pictures on so when the marshmallows are long gone, you still have a memento of the pics.
Momb - they are just the cheap marshmallows.

momb · 05/11/2015 10:03

Oh Sad

trollkonor · 05/11/2015 10:06

They are over priced but ... if you put significant pictures on them they could be a fun thing for family or friends abroad. International postage is free so they could be used instead of a Christmas Card. No I dont work for them Smile

Moln · 05/11/2015 10:17

Shall confess to not looking. But if I had an income where spending £15 felt like spending €5 on a 'funny' or frivolous gift does to me know I probably would.

It's all relative!!

CallaLilli · 05/11/2015 10:17

I wonder if he'd sell any if not for who his sister is? You can't accuse Kate's siblings of not cashing in on her fame!

SellFridges · 05/11/2015 10:20

I bought them as a gift for a friend's hen weekend. Had lots of awful pics of her and our group of friends printed on them. Great for that kind of gift I think.
