Where can I get a massive mug?

jorahmormont · 22/10/2015 22:16

Just that, really. I need a big mug. Preferably with a logo on it. Bigger than your average mug. I don't want to shop online for it - I'd like to go into a shop and get a nice big mug.

Any recommendations?

Sports Direct.

DoveCazzoEIlMioCaffe · 22/10/2015 22:17

Depends really. Do you want it to be cheap and nasty and to come with a complete set of bad vibes all of it's own?

choccyp1g · 22/10/2015 22:17

Sports direct

PseudoBadger · 22/10/2015 22:19

Do you want my DP?

jorahmormont · 22/10/2015 22:19

Sorry to dripfeed, but I'd like it to be from a shop with a great returns policy. I hear Sports Direct is pretty good for that :)

I received a Sports Direct mug 'free' in the post with an online order recently. It was chipped. I felt pretty mugged off to be fair.

Hmm
RJnomaaaaaargh · 22/10/2015 22:24

Definitely sports direct.

It's £1 to park but you get it back on the mug.

TRexingInAsda · 22/10/2015 22:25

Oh, I misread the thread title. I came in here to give you a massive (virtual) hug. I thought it was unusual for mumsnet!

LynetteScavo · 22/10/2015 22:26

Sports Direct.

They sent me mine for free. I didn't actually want it, but it's great for brownies in a mug.

Parking is free here. Grin

elephantoverthehill · 22/10/2015 22:26

May be a chamber pot from an antiques shop, or just a potty?

RJnomaaaaaargh · 22/10/2015 22:27

TrexingInSportsDirect would be a great name change...

LadyLonely1 · 22/10/2015 22:27

TRex I've also misread as ' I have been a massive mug'Grin

jorahmormont · 22/10/2015 22:30

I'll take a hug if you're still offering TRexing Grin

Sports Direct don't have a great returns policy though. They sent me the wrong size football boots, then I had to pay P&P again to send them back, then they didn't have the right size in stock but refused to refund me either set of P&P; or to send me any other boots. Then they started ignoring my emails saying "where's my money you fuckers" I'm with zombie thread lady.

Snoopadoop · 22/10/2015 22:31

Grin bravo OP, bravo!

TheGirlFromIpanema · 22/10/2015 22:34

Disney store do massive mugs Smile

Much nicer than those crappy sports direct ones!

TheGirlFromIpanema · 22/10/2015 22:36

Blush You got me op

OTheHugeManatee · 22/10/2015 22:38

I got some pint mugs from Spode that have this sort of blue and white Italian garden pattern on them. They're quite pretty but would be improved by being a bit plainer, say white with a large logo.

Marking place in case anyone has suggestions.

mileend2bermondsey · 22/10/2015 22:39

I was all 'why is this on AIBU? - get to Chat!' Until I opened it.

Good one OP Wink

TRexingInAsda · 22/10/2015 22:40

I must be banished from mumsnet forever! (Timely suggestion RJnomaaaaargh)

NickNackNooToYou · 22/10/2015 22:42

You could even get a humongous bag for life to keep it in Wink

mileend2bermondsey · 22/10/2015 22:43

I know you said online shopping was out of the question, but I think I've found something that fits the bill www.sportsdirect.com/sportsdirect-mug-898013
Which sad fucker is actually paying for this when you can get one for free with your order then simply return the purchased goods for a full cash refund? Wait a minute . . .

I'm boycotting sports direct until they explain the point of having such ugly playing cards on the counter.

jorahmormont · 22/10/2015 22:48

So if I order adorable tiny pink converse, will they send me the Big Mug?
