Where can I get a massive mug?

Just that, really. I need a big mug. Preferably with a logo on it. Bigger than your average mug. I don't want to shop online for it - I'd like to go into a shop and get a nice big mug.

Any recommendations?

UterusUterusGhali · 23/10/2015 09:38

Do you want the mug to have an out of proportion handle too, jorah?
:D

FairNotFair · 23/10/2015 09:45

An ornament for any home, OP.

Grin This is a thread that just keeps on giving

MardyBra · 23/10/2015 11:39

Why is this in aibu?

TattyDevine · 23/10/2015 11:44

So funny Grin

Does anyone not have one of those fucking great big mugs languishing in the back of a cupboard. They fit a whole Covent Garden Soup FFS. I reckon they could fit a whole bottle of wine. Now there's an idea.

All those greenies keep whittering on about plastic bags but when they unearth our landfill sites in 3 million years it will be full of Sports Direct mugs!

jorahmormont · 23/10/2015 12:19

Sorry Mardy

Whittards

feebeecat · 23/10/2015 12:26

Thanks to dh's addiction to buying fleeces for dc, I ended up with a complete set of those fecking mugs. Unfortunately they went to the charity shop who I am sure were very grateful or they could have been all yours OP

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 23/10/2015 12:48

I hate the Sports Direct mugs. Ds2 has several (owing to the fact that he lives in tracksuit bottoms and hoodies that he buys over t'interweb from SD) and he has to keep them in his room - otherwise they mysteriously hurl themselves from the worktop into the bin!

Leeds2 · 23/10/2015 12:57

Emma Bridgewater

blobbityblob · 23/10/2015 12:59

Cath Kidston does them, sold in John Lewis. Mine holds 400ml (so two mugs of tea). Not exactly a logo though - more flowers or spots.

ScribblerOnTheRoof · 23/10/2015 13:01

I have a massive Oscar the Grouch mug, Was a christmas present so dont know where it was from unfortunately. Its bigger than the Sports Direct ones too

somewheresomehow · 23/10/2015 13:10

disney store do them

howabout · 23/10/2015 13:10

My SportsDirect is a 10 minute walk away - I have as many humungous logo mugs as any girl could ever want and a bag for life and a massive big button calculator which is the ultimate gift for an accountant like me.

I also have 2 teenagers so ample excuse to go sports top shopping. Their school doesn't enforce PE kit rules so they can be Batgirl, Wonderwoman, or Supergirl any time they choose. Grin

jorahmormont · 23/10/2015 13:20

Thanks for all the suggestions but unfortunately it does have to be a logo. A big red and blue logo preferably.

I can send you the one I got from that sports shop. That one that the big fella that owns Newcastle United owns. Can't remember the name of the shop.

It's hidden at the back of my cupboard, as it doesn't fit well in the dishwasher and I prefer china mugs for my tea.

HippyDippyRidingPretty · 23/10/2015 13:29

Here you go op. I'll sell it to you for the cheap price of £0.01 (£4.99 delivery charge) no returns...

Ah, I see yours has a chip Hippy. You should double your price.

moosemama · 23/10/2015 13:33

Sports Direct actually charge you £1.00 for those mugs. I was sure I'd received one for nothing a couple of years ago, but discovered this when I was buying PE kit for the dcs this summer.
