To ask what tv show you live in?

Totally inspired by the awesome Gavin and Stacey thread and not to hijack that one thought I would ask this.

I live in Stella. Pontyberry is EXACTLY like my town. (In fact some of it IS my town massive claim to fame drop ). Me and my friends often say how familiar the characters are. We could spend some time comparing them to people we know.

I think when you can resonate with aspects a programme becomes more real, and a sitcom more funny.

So I'd like to know where in telly land you think you live because I'm nosy

I wished I lived in Friends.

haha MsRamone I came on to say The Royle Family. I am embarrassed to say (and may out myself) I live in the town where pint of lager was filmed. Hated the show. Unfunny, immature, pathetic. And in Runcorns' defence, there are some quite nice parts of our town which were not shown in that excuse for a sitcom. People who like that show probably like Lee Nelson and Mrs Browns Boys.

Probably outnumbered despite having only one child she feels like more.

i found it very difficult to find the Royle Family funny as it was like watching my family.

Groundhog Day

Outnumbered. The similarity between dd and Karen in astounding. Ds1 very much shakes his head and sighs at his smaller siblings and ds2 spends a lot of time covered in mud. At 3 years old he is a Ben in training.

Nearest to where I live is benidorm - although it's not really like benidorm the town, it's a European holiday resort, and there are some types of expats that are universal!

Everybody loves Raymond... Eerily so, almost every detail is the same, in fact if it hadn't been written before my life I would wonder if i was being stalked!
