It is the most long running pile of lameness on the TV!

Do they keep it running just to give Jenny Bond a job?

I like it. Especially when dishy Marcus Wareing is a judge!

Blarblarblar · 22/09/2015 19:39

OMG I'm such a tragedy, I love it. My DP despairs

sproketmx · 22/09/2015 19:40

Never heard of it if I'm honest

Compulsive viewing here. More cooking and drama, less soft stories preferable though.

Lunaballoon · 22/09/2015 19:42

MW was so harsh on a previous series he made one of the chefs cry. Very uncomfortable viewing!

OxfordCommoner · 22/09/2015 19:43

I love it. Matt Gillan runs my favourite local restaurant.

LunchpackOfNotreDame · 22/09/2015 19:44

My husband

It's shit. He keeps turning to me and saying "ooh did you see that!" no I fucking didn't because ITS A PLATE OF FOOD AND THIS PROGRAMME IS A PILE IF WANK

Leave me to MN in peace

TwllBach · 22/09/2015 19:44

Iiiiiiii dooooooo

Pregnancy bad sleep stuff going on here, so it's nice and soothing and is about the only thing that can lull me to sleep!

ThursdayLastWeek · 22/09/2015 19:45

I love it!
Though this series isn't that inspiring - the brief is dull dull dull

Eminybob · 22/09/2015 19:46

Oh it is shit and the reasons for the banquets are gearing more and more tenuous but I've been watching it from the first series and it's just habit now.

Eminybob · 22/09/2015 19:46

*getting

ThursdayLastWeek · 22/09/2015 19:46

Matt Gillan is fit

TheTravellingLemon · 22/09/2015 19:49

I love it! Though if one more chef dedicates their dish to their inspirational grandmother I think I will chuck the telly out the window.

Agree the brief this year is dull. Whether you're an ambitious newcomer or competition veteran Wink

MrsCorbyn · 22/09/2015 19:52

Love it. Bake off however is a pile of shite

Prettyeyedpiratesmile · 22/09/2015 19:52

I've been to the restaurant in a show that is owned by one of the previous contestants....Jacqueline somebody and it was yum yum yum Smile

Prettyeyedpiratesmile · 22/09/2015 19:52

*in Glasgow Blush typing and feeding a baby!

WeAllFloat · 22/09/2015 19:53

My dh is watching it now. Oh! Oh, he just switched over, it really must be shit.

Boosiehs · 22/09/2015 19:54

Matt Gillian is lush!!!!

I love GBM. I realise I am sad.

airforsharon · 22/09/2015 19:56

in my defence i'm curled up in my pyjamas with a brew and feeling unwell and sorry for myself, so it's the most my feeble brain can cope with right now. I'm finding it strangely soothing Smile

GooseberryJam · 22/09/2015 19:56

My elderly parents watch it all the time. Cookery shows are their thing. So just think of the pensioners! Smile

Blueberry234 · 22/09/2015 19:57

I love it, especially criticising how they serve the food shouting at the TV 'use a fecking plate!'

Cookingongas · 22/09/2015 19:57

I love it. Good family viewing ( though I agree we're clutching at straws this year)

RedNailPolish101 · 22/09/2015 19:58

I like it too... I liked the crazy northern chap who did the starters in an egg shaped thing... Think it gets better as it goes into their later rounds.

OllyBJolly · 22/09/2015 20:00

I quite enjoy it -good to unwind to. Agree this is a bad year though. The Comic Relief theme was one of the best - get some humour in. This is dull (with apologies to any WRI MNers)
