Such as oooooh I don't know, allegedly sticking their dicks inside the mouth of dead pigs?
Why?!
Especially when you've been groomed to be PM since you were in nappies.

Poor piggy :(

Because they're human and dumb teenagers like most other university students out there?

I don't approve of what he did, but the myth that politicians are better than the rest of us, a higher breed from birth, is a naive fallacy.

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 21/09/2015 10:34

I suppose it seemed like a good idea at the time.

At least we know now why Ed Miliband made such a hash of eating a bacon sandwich, he clearly knew more than the rest of us and was terrified, wondering if this bacon was from 'Dave's piggy'.

It may also explain why Kermit and Miss Piggy split up!

MajesticWhine · 21/09/2015 10:35

he wasn't groomed to be pm, he was just another university student being a nob.

OneDay103 · 21/09/2015 10:36

Dont be daft, he was just another uni student doing a stupid thing.

Unreasonablebetty · 21/09/2015 10:37

I was horrified reading he stuck his manpiece in a dead pigs mouth. Eck.

HoneyDragon · 21/09/2015 10:39

I don't get why the media deem it necessary for the public to know this information.

crumpet · 21/09/2015 10:41

Storm in a teacup. All sorts happened at universities during the 80s, even at mine, which at best was only a plate glass uni. The boys dining club there really fancied themselves and created all kinds of havoc.

LovelyFriend · 21/09/2015 10:44

It's just another example of his cunty over-privilieged lifestyle, where anything goes, the sicker the better, and it's all par for the course in preparation to be a Tory PM. If he had been a more decent chap he would not have gone the distance politically (as a Tory at least).

I do love how it is is former best bud that has dished the dirt on him after Dave reneged on a corrupt pact they had.

Sadly I doubt it will be his downfall - the British public seem to take some perverse pleasure in being royally fucked by idiots like this. What a shame.

LovelyFriend · 21/09/2015 10:53

I don't get why the media deem it necessary for the public to know this information.
His former "best chum" political cronie deemed it worth of publishing in a book he has written as punishment for Dave backing out of a "cash for privilege" deal they had. Dave took the cash, didn't keep up his part of the deal, and is now being punished.

It's really not got too much to do with "the media", though I do LOVE that it is the DM that is serializing the book. Cat among pigeons etc. It will make it so very hard for certain folk to turn the other cheek.

MaidOfStars · 21/09/2015 10:56

Oh my god, is this actually true? I assumed a hoax....

Birdsgottafly · 21/09/2015 11:02

The double standards of this behaviour, is what pisses me off.

If a Want-to-be female politician had of sat on the pigs face, I doubt she'd still be in line for a career in politics.

Taylor22 · 21/09/2015 11:04

He wasn't a politician when (if) this occurred. He was a silly Uni student. I work with students and trust me when I say a lot of lives would be ruined if their harmless actions were dragged up in 20 years.

ahbollocks · 21/09/2015 11:07

manpiece Confused boke

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 21/09/2015 11:39

Ds3 was telling me about his initiation into his university hockey club, this weekend, and it involved a lot of drinking 'dirty' pints and being sick - which didn't sound like that much fun to me. Apparently the rugby club are worse - they have to bob for apples in human wee.

Students doing stupid stuff at university is nothing new. Mhairi Black has been forgiven for her offensive tweets when she was younger, but Cameron is to be hung, drawn and quartered for doing this. Yes, it was a thoroughly nasty thing to do, but does one stupid act define ANYONE'S life? Really?

Racundra · 21/09/2015 11:39

Because he's human, and people do stupid things and make the wrong choice 9/10.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 21/09/2015 11:54

Most people do stupid things sometimes - but if they aren't in the public gaze, no-one is going to bother to publish the 'revelations'.

araiba · 21/09/2015 11:57

someone who thinks its ok to get blowjobs from dead animals shouldn't really be in charge of the country

LovelyFriend · 21/09/2015 12:02

Didn't he burn £50 notes too? the country deems that "acceptable".
Sad

mollie123 · 21/09/2015 12:13

everyone does stupid things when they are young
but most get away with it because they are not newsworthy.

it was a pigs head (you know you see them in burchers shops), it was men being stupid, it was not a blow job (for goodness sake get real) and really there is no basis for fact in the Daily Mail (as you all so often say)
I judge people on how they are now not 30 years ago. Hmm

Investmentspaidout · 21/09/2015 12:22

Initiation ceremonies that I know of amongst male friends

Wanking on the biscuit, last to come has to eat it also drink the pint of piss. These were not public schoolboys nor posh.

Running naked round the quad, that was a public schoolboy and was a member of a notorious Cambridge drinking society that is now banned.

Flaming arsehole, initiation where a long length of loo roll is left dangling from the anus. It is set on fire and an obstacle course has to be run before paper is pulled out.

Clingfilming and having various stuff thrown at them.

I used to work in an industry where women were few, they would get drunk and revel in these tales.

HesSpartacus · 21/09/2015 13:28

I think we should be less worried about the sort of crap immature students get up to and more worried about the motives of the source of the story, 'Lord' Ashcroft, who seems to be incredibly bitter that he didn't get the role in government that he clearly thinks he bought via his donations.

Suck it up Mikey - you can't buy everything you've got your heart set on, thankfully, especially if you cheat on your taxes for years.

DrDreReturns · 21/09/2015 13:32

He wasn't a politician at the time.

This EXACTLY. Ashcroft sounds like a total twunt. With ishoos.

PlayingSolitaire · 21/09/2015 13:36
  1. not everyone did stupid stuff as a uni student. I didn't. Any we haven't all done drugs either.

  2. there are politicians out there who haven't done "stuff" like this in their pasts and who actually are decent human beings and always have been.

This is a non story and I am not remotely surprised by it.
