AIBU?

to sneak out for a KFC while DP is asleep?

DP was asleep when I got in from work (he does early shifts) and I can see ingredients for a lovely healthy meal in the fridge. He would cook if I put a bit more effort into waking him up. I have woken him once and he sort of grunted at me and said to put the oven on, then fell asleep again.

AIBU to not try and wake him up again, turn the oven off, and sneak out for a dirty KFC, which is what I really fancy. DP does not eat it.

If I did, it's just being considerate of the poor tired out chap really, isn't it....

AIBU in doing this instead of cooking our lovely fish, veg and salad stuff?

Mmm KFC. I'd go in a heartbeat.

It would be incredibly UR to wake the poor man from his clearly much needed beauty sleep.

Turn the oven off, & go for kfc. It's Friday, you can be healthy tomorrow (or Monday)

would it be taking the piss too much to bring it home and stink the flat out? There's a film on at 9. Quite happy at the thought of a quiet movie/KFC night on my own.

YABVU....for wanting KFC. Awful stuff! A massive stuffed crust pizza and fries and I would agree, in fact I would be asking where you are and then inviting myself to go with you. Grin

I just did a comedy tip toe in and out of bedroom for shoes. Faint snoring in response.

I've been dithering over to make something delicious and healthy for my dinner - out of leftovers as we are off on our hols at the weekend and so have done no shopping.

I've now just send a text to my DH, who is at the gym, to ask:

"AIBU to request a KFC on your way home?"

Grin I can already imagine what his response will be...

Will he need feeding? Maybe you should pick him up a Zinger Tower meal with popcorn chicken that he can nuke if he wakes hungry... (or you could eat later when you get the secondary KFC munchies!!) Grin

Noooooooo! My DH agreed to my request, turned up at the drive thru, only to discover that he's left his wallet at home and they can't do remote payment. Sad

Healthy dinner it is then!
