to sneak out for a KFC while DP is asleep?

DP was asleep when I got in from work (he does early shifts) and I can see ingredients for a lovely healthy meal in the fridge. He would cook if I put a bit more effort into waking him up. I have woken him once and he sort of grunted at me and said to put the oven on, then fell asleep again.

AIBU to not try and wake him up again, turn the oven off, and sneak out for a dirty KFC, which is what I really fancy. DP does not eat it.

If I did, it's just being considerate of the poor tired out chap really, isn't it....

AIBU in doing this instead of cooking our lovely fish, veg and salad stuff?

My DP is one of them weird forriners and utterly unimpressed with KFC. He just cannot 'get' it, no matter how much I gently encourage.

My exP was also a furriner and super healthy, into organic ethical food.
I used to have the odd dirty McDs, KFC etc but pretend I wouldn't touch such things.
He would also insist on cooking but get in late from work and 'need to chill'...ethical organic quinoa and lentils at 10pm, yeah no thanks.

Yeah I can't have KFC these days as nice as it is (I'm only 26!) I get the runs after.

Mmm so jealous and craving mc donalds breakfast - both dh and ds are asleep however looking after a friends dc at 8.30, I haven't got time have I? may send dh out when he gets woken up by said friends dc arriving!

Kfc was my fave until they changed the chips now I'm with icklekid and want to wake dh to get me a McDonalds...

I wish the KFC delivered. ....
