Motercare - customer service is dreadful

I have had dreadful service from Mothercare. I ordered a maternity T-shirt to be delivered to Westfield London a month ago, picked it up - got it home and it was a vest. Telephoned mothercare to let them know, was told I had to send the item back before they would send me the correct item. Sent it back, received the wrong item again. Phoned again, sent item back, and was the wrong item again! 3rd Time. Telephoned again, asked for my money back, was sent an email on 8 July 15 saying money refunded, it is now 30 July 15 and money has not been refunded. I have been told I have to provide them with my bank statement between 8 July and 30 July as evidence that I did not receive the payment. I am not sending these clowns my personal bank statement when they cant even send a t-shirt correctly (after 3 attempts and then refund money to someone else's bank account). Told them would never shop with them again and they said "they didn't care". Do not waste your money with this company. If something goes wrong they really don't care!!

I have had similar problems with Tesco. But at least they weren't rude to me.

Sorry to hear about your experience - we're going to delete duplicate posts on this.
Maybe another Mumsnetter can help with any advice they have of dealing here
Thanks

First things first, get your order number. Then go to their Facebook page and post directly to their page stating what has happened (during 9-5 hours gets a quicker response) and they should sort it for you.

Product they are sending is obviously marked up differently in the warehouse or something which is why you keep receiving it - the computer sending it to you doesn't know it's wrong and this needs to be pointed out to them so it doesn't happen again.

As for the bank statement thing, why don't you screenshot it - put it in paint and then block out any info that they don't need to see. That way they can see they haven't paid you.

Hope this helps! I have had dealings with them before and found that if you stay calm and post to Facebook it gets resolved quicker as other people can see it.

They actually said they 'don't care'?
