Am I going to die of sugar poisoning.....? Confused. I feel really quite sick

I'm usually fairly sensible (or try to be re: sweet things) so I don't know what came over me.

I'm 21 weeks pregnant so hope the baby isn't in a sugar coma!

Have you tried the salted caramel cheesecake doughnut? It's to die for. I recommend a dose to make you feel better

SpendSpendSpend · 07/07/2015 15:35

I dont like krispy kremes. I love jam doughnuts and custard ones though!

Pepperonipeteczar · 07/07/2015 15:36

I'm gagging to try the peanut butter cup one!

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 07/07/2015 15:38

It was a salted caramel one which was a chaser after a raspberry glazed one

Oddly, I preferred the raspberry one. I bought the cheesecake one for DH

I am disgusted with myself...

Lightweight.

Come back to me when you've eaten four original, one after the other.

WiIdfire · 07/07/2015 15:39

Just two? Lightweight.

Nromanoff · 07/07/2015 15:39

2???? And you feel sick???? You are a light weight Grin

patterkiller · 07/07/2015 15:41

I had two topics and a whisper yesterday and I don't have the pregnancy excuse. I'm eying the last topic as it looks lonley. I think it's the weather grasping at straws to justify my pigging

DefinitelyNotElsa · 07/07/2015 15:41

YANBU.

The baby wants cake. I'm 28 weeks pregnant... My baby often demands cake too.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 07/07/2015 15:42

Oh my God - how do you manage more than 2 Shock?!

The back of my throat is burning

However I ate them both very quickly one after the other to minimise multiple sugar intakes so my tooth enamel will thank me

What a lightweight, DP and I shared a double dozen over the course of a three day weekend Blush

ChuffinAda · 07/07/2015 15:42

I prefer greggs donuts. Tastier and cheaper.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 07/07/2015 15:43

Yes, definitely

The baby wanted them. You are quite right.

Never tried one Sad

The world just isn't ready for me on krispy creme ....

thewavesofthesea · 07/07/2015 15:44

My youngest DS loved doughnuts while I was pregnant. So much so I put on about 3 stone Blush. Oddly enough he really doesn't like really sweet things now, aged 3!

ThreeBeanRap · 07/07/2015 15:44

I'm pregnant too and have a huge Krispy Kreme craving. They are amazing. Two is absolutely fine, you'll probably feel better if you have a third.

EugenesAxe · 07/07/2015 15:46

They are about 500 calories a pop. I cannot eat them as if I do I have to live in a cave for a month afterwards.

EugenesAxe · 07/07/2015 15:49

I'm lying. The worst is 400 and average about 350. They just scare me with their decadence.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 07/07/2015 15:51

500 calories!!!! ConfusedShock Each!

OMG - I'm going out for dinner tonight too

Thankfully I only bought two and a latte

I wonder if I have a medical issue apart from gluttony that is making me so pig-like

Even worse.....KK have opened a drive thru near us which is where I got them from. I will not venture near there again.....

Oh thanks eugenes - I just had a massive braxton hicks after reading your 500 calories post!

Volenflo · 07/07/2015 15:58

And? I could eat 5. pig

goldenduckling · 07/07/2015 15:59

I ate 3 salted caramel cheesecake ones yesterday Blush was meant to be sharing them with my dh, made the mistake of leaving them next to me on the sofa whilst breastfeeding dd.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 07/07/2015 16:01

I've just eaten half a Brie with rice crackers. I now appear to have palpitations. Unusual, although I have also had a glass of red wine and maybe half a pack of mint matchstick type chocolates.

Hey ho. And I'm not even pregnant, just greedy. :(

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 07/07/2015 16:02

Oh if you're feeling sick from sugar overload, eat something that's nearly all protein - I find nuts are really good.
