Desiccated fucking coconut

I am not being unreasonable. Why is there desiccated fucking coconut in a chocolate chip biscuit? Foxs are the unreasonable ones. Bastards have ruined my evening. Angry

Bleeeeurgh, nasty stuff.
It's all small and pokey and sticks in your teeth and remains there forever.
It doesn't even taste of anything other than coconuts that should have been dusted months ago.

MoonlightandMusic · 23/06/2015 21:33

Well, it is cheating a tad to post an AIBU that clearly isn't, but YANBU - mind you Foxes biscuits are vile nowadays anyway, so YABU for being surprised about the hideousness!

Have some Wine to take the taste away. Grin

MoonlightandMusic · 23/06/2015 21:34

Or Fox's even. Blush

TiredButFine · 23/06/2015 21:36

YANBU! Bloody MINT rockys are full of it, stupid minty coconut biscuits.

Edna1969 · 23/06/2015 21:37

YANBU dessicated cocumt is hideous. Careful reading of labels needed to avoid and it gets everywhere.

TalcAndTurnips · 23/06/2015 21:37

I like coconut.

Edna1969 · 23/06/2015 21:38

I like coconut...just not dessicated.

KanyesVest · 23/06/2015 21:40

Argh, moonlight, I thought I posted in Chat. I'm as bad as those bad, bad people

Dh bought the offending articles. I'm slightly suspicious as he is a complete weirdo and likes coconut. If only I'd known before he proposed...

OP posts:
meyesmyeyes · 23/06/2015 21:40

Vile stuff. What's the point of dessicated coconut? Confused

TalcAndTurnips · 23/06/2015 21:41

I like those chocolate mallows that are encrusted in the stuff.

And Lamingtons.

Please send any unwanted coconut to PO Box 23, Turnip Towers, Talcyton.

KanyesVest · 23/06/2015 21:48

Talc, will your neighbours sign for the package if you're not there? I'd hate to risk accidentally contaminating a desiccated-free home.

Tbh,you can have dh too. Bugger is now eating all my consolation custard creams.

OP posts:
MoonlightandMusic · 23/06/2015 21:53

Well, I do admit to liking the stuff when it's making coconut ice or part of that dip you get in Indian restaurants that's coconut, carrot & caraway. Lurking in biscuits or cake, however? = [vom]

Kanye - Posted in AIBU 'by accident' eh? Likely story! Wink

toothlessoldhag · 23/06/2015 21:54

I love coconut and dream of the day that Quality Street coconut eclair a will be available on their own, so YABU I'm afraid Grin

TalcAndTurnips · 23/06/2015 21:56

I have the builders in at the mo (not a euphemism) so they will take care of the sacks of coconut on delivery.

Re Mr K. Vest - he may come in handy sweeping up rubble etc.

Ta.

OttiliaVonBCup · 23/06/2015 21:57

I like it.

TalcAndTurnips · 23/06/2015 22:01

I would quite enjoy applying chocolate sauce all over and rolling in the stuff.

It would be an interesting insight into life as a Tunnock's Snowball - I might even secure some research funding.

Talc, he's all yours.

Moonlight, I'm definitely not intentionally brave enough for AIBU, even when I'm cocon-utterly sure I'm right.

bringonyourwreckingball · 23/06/2015 22:12

I'm allergic to coconut -and it's every fucking where these days and not labeled as it's not a known allergen. But I've been hospitalised 3 times. Bloody coconut oil

MoonlightandMusic · 23/06/2015 22:17

They are all fluffy bunnies round here, honest!

[N.B. - I may be referring to this sort of fluffy bunny... ]

OhEmGeee · 23/06/2015 22:20

I hate coconut, hate it.

SylvaniansAtEase · 23/06/2015 22:28

I love it, even the desiccated stuff. Perhaps ESPECIALLY the desiccated stuff. Flakey dry loveliness, it's the Lord's dandruff.

RackofPeas · 23/06/2015 22:33

I quite like it.
I put it in my flapjacks....
I put it in my homemade korma.
But I have often been described as a trifle odd, so perhaps my opinion doesn't count for much.
Hum, I bet it would be nice on a trifle! Mmm...

MissBananaMama · 23/06/2015 22:39

Mmmmmm coconut....

TwigletFiend · 23/06/2015 23:09

The Lord's dandruff... [boak]
