I think bare feet is probably better than willies. Grin

YaTalkinToMe · 05/05/2015 16:11

I think it is ok for me but I lone work.

violetwellies · 05/05/2015 16:12

Willies?

DragonWithAGirlTattoo · 05/05/2015 16:12

i'd be shocked and pearl clutchy if there were willies floating around the office!!

prepperpig · 05/05/2015 16:13

Willies should never be on display in an office.

CaTsMaMmA · 05/05/2015 16:13

well who knew googling willie shoes would be so so dull??

really disappointed

MrsTerryPratchett · 05/05/2015 16:14

NSFW Willie shoes. Grin

iwantgin · 05/05/2015 16:14

Willies :) ha ha ha

MrsTerryPratchett · 05/05/2015 16:15

I did 'penis shoes', CaTs. Much more fruitful.

MrsTerryPratchett · 05/05/2015 16:15

Shit. I hope it's not like penguin bollards and I will have penis shoes all over my internets forever.

TheoriginalLEM · 05/05/2015 16:16

there is a picture of atheletes foot in that selection mrsterryprachet Confused

GenerationX2 · 05/05/2015 16:18

I think its OK to go bare foot and I have done it in my office, however I have heard on here that people find it inappropriate in the work place.

whois · 05/05/2015 16:20

I've done it before when I forgot my work shoes after biking in.

I had black tights on and basically stayed at my desk all day!

midlifegirl · 05/05/2015 16:21

Sorry meant wellies!!

Could'nt really wear them in work so have been in my tights feet. I am in an accountants as a secretary / receptionist.

oooh I am really laughing now! :o

Who do you think wears the breasts or penis ones?

WorraLiberty · 05/05/2015 16:29

How about a fetching pair of slippers? Grin

CalamitouslyWrong · 05/05/2015 16:35

I often take my shoes off in the office. I did it all the time when I had one to myself. My current office mates don't care.

gemmababe · 05/05/2015 16:36

Yes I've done that!!

Live out in the sticks and work in Hereford.

In the winter I change into v smart slippers in the office - Aspinall of London.

leedy · 05/05/2015 16:55

PMSL at the willy slippers.

Re being shoeless in the office, I've done it when it's been lashing rain on the way in and the alternative is squelching around in wet shoes.

That said, I have seen people in my office in, among other things, full Viking regalia and their pyjamas. It is possibly not very formal.

shrunkenhead · 05/05/2015 17:00

Probably be deemed a bit casual and Hebden, depends on the nature of your office I guess...

Fluffyears · 05/05/2015 17:22

We are not allowed to do that in our office as its a health and safety issue apparently.

helenahandbag · 05/05/2015 17:24

I used to walk around in my socks all the time in my last job! Now I'm a bit more customer-facing but I do sometimes take my shoes off under my desk for a bit - what a rebel Grin

Icimoi · 05/05/2015 17:24

I regularly take my shoes off in the office. I know perfectly well I risk standing on something sharp or dropping something on my feet, but I've done it all my life and I'm perfectly prepared to accept the risk in the interests of comfort.

Whatthefucknameisntalreadytake · 05/05/2015 17:27

I take my shoes off at work all the time but only if I have socks on, would not do it with bare feet.

worksallhours · 05/05/2015 19:07

Like Fluff, we aren't allowed to do it either.

In our place, it is about evacuation policy. If there is a fire, they want you to be able to evacuate immediately and not have to try and find your shoes first.

But aside from that, anything could be on the floor. And then it gets on your socks or tights. And then you bring it home and walk it on your floors.
