On my local FB selling site. Surely with toenail extensions, you'd struggle to get your shoes on? Plus I think it's a bit grim looking Confused

They look awful!

They just look like bits of plait stuck on the toes, I can't imagine anyone wanting that done Confused

MrsPresley · 20/04/2015 15:38

Bits of plait Hmm should say plastic Grin

MagelanicClouds · 20/04/2015 15:49

Gross! How would you keep them clean?

FoulsomeAndMaggotwise · 20/04/2015 15:53

Gross!

Short toenails only.

Chippednailvarnish · 20/04/2015 15:55

I would love to see Karl Lagerfield's reaction to Chanel toenail extensions Grin

TheWitTank · 20/04/2015 15:55

That picture made my stomach roll a bit -they are grim. Why would you do that?! Long toenails always make me think that the person with them doesn't look after their feet.

alleypalley · 20/04/2015 15:55

Oh god that makes me want to vomit. That is seriously disgusting.

Betrayedbutsurvived · 20/04/2015 15:57

I guess the idea is you wear flip flops all the way time to show them off. They look vile though.

NoelHeadbands · 20/04/2015 16:00

Fifty shades of wrong.

avocadotoast · 20/04/2015 16:04

That is rank. Surely they'd catch on absolutely everything?? Blurgh.

AliceLidl · 20/04/2015 16:21

Ew.

They're going to be everywhere aren't they?

People in flip flops and toenail extensions are going to be out in force this summer.

I really don't like feet at the best of times.

Urgh! No thanks. I like to deny the existance of my deformed horrible feet as much as possible

SoonToBeMrsB · 20/04/2015 16:46

Oh no, long toenails are horrific! They look like talons

curlyweasel · 20/04/2015 16:48

They look like tippexed quavers! Just bleurgh!

CapnMurica · 20/04/2015 16:49

Ew ew ew.

Is it an overreaction that those make me feel bilious? So gross.

bloodyteenagers · 20/04/2015 17:02

Omg they aren't on straight. Ok she is still a trainee, but bloody hell who would want to pay for that?

Fluffyears · 20/04/2015 17:25

I've seen fake toenails on sale next to fingernails in boots but they were short and just used to make nails look nicer than to actually be long. I don't get this!

tiredvommachine · 20/04/2015 17:35

I'm so pleased my reaction wasn't an isolated one.
Each to their own but the practical element was what really caught my attention.
admires own short nailed trotters

A mum I know had these for her sons christening, but not quite as long. She was crying on pain trying to prise them off halfway through the night as they dug in.. This was seven years ago, so think it is just a fad!

Sparklingbrook · 20/04/2015 17:58

Ooh false toenails, I have a story.

Child's 5th birthday party from school, at mahoosive floor to ceiling soft play type place. Party organiser person gets parents and children to 'conga' through the whole thing, up the foam wedges, through the ball pit etc.... One Mum goes in with ten false toenails on and comes out with a couple left on.

FoulsomeAndMaggotwise · 20/04/2015 18:22

What were the comments OP, did anyone actually take her up on the offer?

Arkkorox · 20/04/2015 18:40

Oh god Sparkling that's just urghhh

TheCunnyFunt · 20/04/2015 18:42

One of my FB friends shared this the other day Shock

Surely you couldn't get your shoe on?
Sparklingbrook · 20/04/2015 18:45

I know Ark. That was about 8 years ago and I still I feel a bit sick thinking of it.
