I just can't understand why you would be proud of yourself and think you're something clever to use heavy weaponry and kill exotic animals.

Warning: images of very lovely animals that have been hunted in the link www.express.co.uk/news/world/570414/Female-giraffe-hunter-death-threats-Ricky-Gervais-tweets-sickening-picture

I can almost see the appeal to some people in stalking and killing small animals, where there must be a little frisson in wondering whether you have made the target or not. But to kill a giraffe, I mean honestly where is the pleasure?! Confused

OP posts:
LaurieFairyCake · 15/04/2015 13:36

I can't see any pleasure in killing big game animals.

Actually I consider it murder.

sooperdooper · 15/04/2015 13:37

It's just horrific and pointless, what kind of twisted individual would you have to be to gain any kind of enjoyment from killing an innocent animal purely for your own pleasure?

rebelfor · 15/04/2015 13:38

Hardly skilful when you have a weapon. Do it with your bare hands, maybe.
She is a horrible bitch, in my humble opinion.

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 15/04/2015 13:40

She's a cunt.

Hope she's eaten by hyenas.

Theresadogonyourballs · 15/04/2015 13:43

She's a disgusting individual who should be in jail. Giraffes are beautiful, peaceful herbivores - how could anyone be so sick as to want to murder one then gloat over it's corpse? SadSad
I'm not religious, but it's times like these I wish I did believe in the concept of heaven and hell - there would be a special corner reserved for her in a fiery pit for all eternity.

GraysAnalogy · 15/04/2015 13:44

I fucking hate her. I don't condone violence but I'd love to punch her.

WorraLiberty · 15/04/2015 13:49

She's a sick fucker

Same as anyone who kills for 'sport' or 'fun' imo.

taxi4ballet · 15/04/2015 14:58

What a despicable thing to do. I have nothing but total and utter contempt for this disgusting loathsome woman.

squoosh · 15/04/2015 15:04

I have a lot of sympathy for Sue Perkins who has received death threats on Twitter after there was a rumour she might be the next Topgear presenter.

Sympathy for this woman though? Hmmmm, not so much!

I hope she finds herself on the wrong side of a rhino one day. Yes I do.

redshoeblueshoe · 15/04/2015 15:09

I thought this was going to be someone doing something silly that required no skill. She really is something else. I can't use the words I really want as I'd get deleted - or I might break the internet. Sad
what a vile fucking bitch

Ifyourawizardwhydouwearglasses · 15/04/2015 15:10

Has she been identified I wonder?

YABU - it can be a skill to hunt animals. (as it may involve weapon skills, tracking skills, survival skills etc)

Now, whether it's morally right or wrong to do so for fun is another matter.
IMO - it is horrendous to kill an animal for sport.

PsychopathOnTheCyclepath · 15/04/2015 15:17

I've got two very strong reasons to hate this woman:

  1. she kills wild animals for fun, and poses for photos
  2. she made me agree with Ricky gervais.

She truly is a torturous bitch

PiperIsTerrysChoclateOrange · 15/04/2015 15:20

Is it horrendous to kill a chicken, pig, sheep or cow to fill supermarket and butchers shelves.

There was a TV chef who came under fire for eating and cooking giraffes. Can't remember who though.

I can see why this is a motive subject, because of how the sheer size and beauty of this animal. I wouldn't ever kill or eat exotic animals.

rebelfor · 15/04/2015 15:21

Seriously? Hardly a level playing field, is it? Dickhead with gun he can fire from tens of feet away against a beast who can't see that it is in the firing line?

CitySnicker · 15/04/2015 15:23

Maybe if she killed it and ate it, it would be more acceptable?

PiperIsTerrysChoclateOrange · 15/04/2015 15:23

Posted too soon, but no animal should be killed for fun

00100001 · 15/04/2015 15:23

You misunderstand. I'm saying there is skill involved sometimes.

It's not easy to use a bow and arrow properly.

It's not easy to track an animal.

It's not easy to live 'wild'

These are all skills.

However, hunting from a car with a gun - not skilful.
Hunting for sport. Not morally right IMO.

00100001 · 15/04/2015 15:24

Hunting for sport - morally wrong.

Hunting for food - not morally wrong.

IMO.

CitySnicker · 15/04/2015 15:27

The hunting for food think is indeed a moral position that many would find deplorable. We don't need to eat meat. We enjoy it and tell ourselves it's ok in that case. ....im a lapsed veggie btw.

rebelfor · 15/04/2015 15:34

00100001
I agree it's not easy to live 'wild', and have no truck with people who actually have to hunt for food, but some bitch flying over to specifically kill an animal like that is a complete cunt, no two ways about it.

00100001 · 15/04/2015 15:34

oh indeed, I agree rebel

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 15/04/2015 15:38

It's horrible, she's vile and we shouldn't click that link to give her airspace.

So was that zoo that killed Marius the giraffe... and so were the sickos (MN ones included) that would let their children watch and saw nothing wrong with it.
