I can almost see the appeal to some people in stalking and killing small animals, where there must be a little frisson in wondering whether you have made the target or not. But to kill a giraffe, I mean honestly where is the pleasure?!

I think it takes a 'certain' type of person to find pleasure in the killing of an animal.

I can understand someone enjoying rifle shooting (it's a skill to hit a target), but what I will never understand are people who use animals as the targets, who actively enjoy killing them and then posing with their corpses I just can't get my head around the mentality of these people.
