To wish Mumsnet was really launching a political party?

The April Fool story about Mumsnet launching a political party was v funny but made me think wouldn't it be great if they did! Would much rather vote for Justine and Carrie thingummy than the boring suits on offer and am sure they'd do a better job than the current lot. Plus there's a massive community of mumsnetters to boo and hiss when they get it wrong.

I think it would be awful. Not necessarily more awful than what we do have, but not the ideal.

I've worked in politics for my entire adult life, and I still don't know what my version of ideal would look like though. Making decisions about this election is proving very difficult for me.

It sounds like a good idea except AIBU leads me to believe the party conference would end in bloodshed.
