To wish Mumsnet was really launching a political party?

The April Fool story about Mumsnet launching a political party was v funny but made me think wouldn't it be great if they did! Would much rather vote for Justine and Carrie thingummy than the boring suits on offer and am sure they'd do a better job than the current lot. Plus there's a massive community of mumsnetters to boo and hiss when they get it wrong.

Some people seem to have missed the bit where I said I would be leader. Angry I expect better from my minions/henchpersons.

I don't kiss babies because they are germ ridden disease-balls. The colour of rosette would be a glittery gold.

The slogan would be "Vote Tiggy you idiots"

My "Battle bus" would have flames up the side.

I discovered today that the Whig party has reformed. It may be of interest to some of you, although they are only standing in four seats: whigs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Whig-Party-Manifesto-2015.pdf

It's also fully armoured in an A-Team kind of way.

I think it would be ace. If mumsnet didn't like the political opinions of any of its supporters there would be no need for whips and speakers; it could just edit them out.
