Em, don't go on FaceBook then? Confused

Or block the stuff - if that's possible? (I don't use Facebook)

NoelEggbands · 04/04/2015 14:48

Oops missed the Facebook braggy bit

DrankSangriaInThePark · 04/04/2015 14:48

Anyone on my FB who photographs any food item, present or glittery shit done by their kid immediately gets hidden. Keeps my newsfeed lovely and tidy. Grin

Salmotrutta · 04/04/2015 14:49

Every time I see a FaceBook thread on here it makes me that little bit more glad that I don't use it tbh.

Sounds ultra boring.

msgrinch · 04/04/2015 14:50

Ds is with his dad tomorrow. So he's had his kinder egg batman thing (£8!!!!wrf) from me. I will be ignoring the easter egg dramas and will be in the pub with my childless friends, drinking vodka Grin

CountingThePennies · 04/04/2015 14:50

Dd whos 2 has eaten her eggs already

Salmotrutta · 04/04/2015 14:50

Aaah!

I see.

I thought people did "threads" on FaceBook too?

DioneTheDiabolist · 04/04/2015 14:52

I thought you were dreading the moans here about FB bragging OP and I was going to say YANBU.

But since your dreading actual FB bragging tomorrow, YABVU because you can totally avoid it by being more selective about your FB friends not going on FB.

DioneTheDiabolist · 04/04/2015 14:53

Oops, should be you're, not your.Blush

Cantbelievethisishappening · 04/04/2015 14:55

i think you take pics of 27 easter eggs all piled together and put them on facebook

then MNers come on here and post about Shock at the number of easter eggs some children have

WorraLiberty · 04/04/2015 14:58

Don't forget the threads where everyone thinks it's hilarious to eat their kid's Easter eggs, without asking them.

They're always followed by tons of posts saying "YANBU, you're just looking after their teeth, hahaha!"

Errr no, you're probably just teaching them to binge eat as they have to scoff them fast, before their parents do.

Happy Easter Easter Grin

DrankSangriaInThePark · 04/04/2015 14:58

My theory, totally based on an empirical study of photographs of their tea and their Mothers Day flowers posted by my FB connections, is that the happier the person, the less they seem to feel the need to ram it down everyone else's throat with another chicken tikka prepared by my luvverly hubby photo....

JugglingFromHereToThere · 04/04/2015 14:58

YABU - And I don't often say that to anyone

It's meant in a nice way though but if the most you have to worry about in your life is dreading a Mumsnet thread about FB pics of Easter eggs (because there have been a few in other years) then can't you see you should be counting your little fluffy chickens - whether before or after they've hatched Easter Smile

YvesJutteau · 04/04/2015 14:58

"I thought you were dreading the moans here about FB bragging OP and I was going to say YANBU."

That is what she means; she's said quite clearly that she doesn't do Facebook.

NoelEggbands · 04/04/2015 14:59

It could be like,my SIL is such a bitch, showing off that her DC got two Thorntons and a Cadburys Dairy Milk when she knows mine only got KitKat Chunkys Sad

ComfortingCwtch · 04/04/2015 14:59

I agree with the OP. One FB 'friend' has already posted a picture of her DC's Easter Eggs - about 20 each, just from her and her DH! Mine have one egg each, she thinks that I am mean.

That's' lovely for her children but she must be very insecure to have to post pictures on FB to show what a good parent she is, I feel sorry for her.
