Dd age 3 is obsessed with Penny whom she initially believed was a 'Boy Fireman'. Finding out Penny is female seems to have only deepened her love. Poor Penny is totally in the shadow of smug Sam much to dd's disappointment.

Ds1 has a fireman Sam toy fire engine. It has the most irritating voice I have ever heard. Keeps saying 'Steady there!' And 'firefighting can be very dangerous' and I'm quite sure one day it will be accidentally destroyed maliciously.
