I mean really and truly, aibu?

If you've never trod on eggshells before, you certainly will when you become owner of a teen.

That is all.

she says

Bogeyface · 30/03/2015 14:07

She's great these tbh, we are over the worst with her, but occasionally (usually coinciding with her period being due) she can get a bit shouty but she's not too bad.

Wish me luck though. My 13 year old started her periods last night.............

Pyjamasandwine · 30/03/2015 14:16

Ah bless her poor pet.

It seems to happen younger and younger now. My gran was 17, my mom 16, I was 14 and my tiny dds were 12! Grrrrr.

Bogeyface · 30/03/2015 14:20

My mum was 10 Shock

My sister and I were both about 13 so actually it has been something of a relief that my girls have followed me and not mum!

Re:- "hotel rules etc" You need to add The management would also like remind guests that certain services can & will be withdrawn without notice eg WiFi Grin

Totally laughing reading this and glad it's not just me going through teen dramas.

My nearly 15yr DD is getting browner by the day, so is my bath, bathroom door and most of my towels!
I also know nothing at all and just don't get it. Ever!!!!
Pants shoved down the side of her bed is common too, only when she is running low on pants she will get them out!!
Everyone has all designer clothes apart from her (not).
Whenever she gets told off for something she does this amazing thing that then makes me feel guilty for getting on at her.

Love her to bits though. Hoping this phase will not last too long, doubt it though!!

Bogeyface · 30/03/2015 15:45

I think one of these might be going up in my house soon.....

teen fucking dramas!!
Pyjamasandwine · 30/03/2015 16:01

Love that poster bogey just perfect.

Cocolepew · 30/03/2015 16:24

Dd started her periods at 10, its awful for them.

Number3cometome · 30/03/2015 16:26

Last night I asked DS(12) to put DD's table mat away after he had finished his dinner - a whole 3 inches away from where he was sitting.

This resulted in a half hour chat about why life is not fair.

He is a pre-teen (or pro-teen) as he once announced to me.

Andrewofgg · 30/03/2015 17:59

You asked a twelve to be helpful in the kitchen?

Who the hell do you think you are? Grin

Bogeyface · 30/03/2015 18:07

OK I NEED HELP NOW!!!!

This is totally unprecedented!

Just heard the hoover upstairs, didnt think of it until I realised, the only person who hoovers is down here, its me!

DD is hoovering her room. Whats she done? Is she hiding evidence? What the fuck is going on?! I cant cope with this!

Andrewofgg · 30/03/2015 18:15

She's planning something . . .

giddypark · 30/03/2015 18:15

Bogeypark

You're having a bunch of teenagers over, obviously. Have you got plans to go out this evening? Or even away for the night?

Either that or yes, there has been some sort of Accident. Face powder or glitter, most likely.

Bogeyface · 30/03/2015 18:21

No, no plans and she never brings her friends here because her sisters piss her off!

I think you might be right about the glitter!

I am going to ask.....if I am not back in an hour please send the rescue party!

Pyjamasandwine · 30/03/2015 18:27

She's broken something? Spilled nail polish somewhere? I am suspicious!

Andrewofgg · 30/03/2015 18:30

No plans?

You mean she's planning carefully and you haven't guessed. Good luck. You'll need it.

Mrsjayy · 30/03/2015 18:34

Apparently she had a life threatening driving lesson today it went something like this oh hh my you gawwwd there was this huge van that almost went over the top of the car I could have actually died mum DIED!!! sigh it over took her

Mrsjayy · 30/03/2015 18:36

Bet miss bogey spilled face powder Grin

Ledkr · 30/03/2015 18:39

They are such narcs aren't they?
Been away for the weekend and dd decided that she likes mils feather pillows.
Asked me for one, I said I thought I might have one and I'd look later.
Unpack the car and bring it all in, she runs straight upstairs of course, no help.
I go off to the shops as we have nothing in.
While I'm there she texts "I have found a pillow, you had two so I took one"
OFF MY FUCKING BED!!!!!! I bought them last week on a groupon because my neck has been hurting and I like them too Shock it's fucking unbelievable.
And bogey she is also clearing up and cleaning her cesspit.
I just had a text from friends mum to say "yes dd can stay if it's ok with you"
Hmm

LimburgseVlaai · 30/03/2015 18:39

My nephew once asked my sister for help because he had lost a file on his laptop. She sat down in front of the screen and he stood behind and hung over her to unlock the laptop.

When it unlocked it opened up his last web screen: wide open legs and a glistening vagina.

Nephew: "Well that's embarrassing."

Bogeyface · 30/03/2015 18:39

It was crisps!

She smushes them up into crumbs to eat them and dropped a whole bag on the floor "and it needed doing anyway"

Dare I hope....?

Ledkr · 30/03/2015 18:43

a glistening vagina I think I just pissed myself a bit. Grin

giddypark · 30/03/2015 18:53

Oh you can definitely hope.

Pyjamasandwine · 30/03/2015 19:28
