To expect flowers ordered for Mother's Day to have arrived by now?

I do feel Mother's Day is manufactured tripe but I did order my lovely Mum a large bunch of flowers to be delivered today - no sign of them.

I have paid over the odds for these and yes I know it is a busy time for florists but they shouldn't take the order if they can't deliver.

DH ordered his Mum flowers from a different florist and surprise surprise they haven't arrived either

Looks like we are jinxed.

I've still had no actual reply to any question from them just automated inaccurate emails.
I've asked to cancel the order - they are still saying it will be delivered by the 15th!

I had a nightmare with I-florist last year. No way would I use them again, they are impossible to get hold of, I never managed to get a response from them!

Serenata are crap too! Wilf ordered flowers from them for his Link Sister's(Social Services) 40th birthday.
They were meant to be delivered on the Saturday and didnt arrive until the Monday! Due to Wilf's autism he got terribly stressed as he had ordered them himself (first time!) and was convinced they had gone to the wrong address!
Serenata dont have a phone helpline!!! We wont use them again!!!

Companies are using Yodel to deliver flowers? I wouldn't trust Yodel to deliver a brick!

I hope you get a satisfactory response OP, and that your Mum understands why she didn't get flowers on Sunday.

Mum's fine but nothing has arrived.
Tried ringing today - on hold for ages and then cut off twice.
No further email updates!
