What's today's AIBU for you?

AIBU in being annoyed I've waited all day for an important item to be delivered (guaranteed delivery) and didn't Hoover ( in case it came and I didn't hear them knock ) or go to the shops in case they came and they never turned up?

Share your woes of today in AIBU fashion :)

Sorry you feel rubbish wheresthelight

AIBU to ask DH to fix the lock on the bathroom door the second he walks in from work as I was trying to pee earlier and it was super sistracting with DS poking his head in the door "muuuummmmyyyy" every three seconds. I need to pee in peace!!! Grin

FuckItBucket · 12/03/2015 20:02

AIBU to want to strangle the ex as he seems to think I need his advice about how to look after my son when he's poorly?!

Not bad you say? This man brings him home ifhis hay fever flares up. I never has him when he is ill

FuckItBucket · 12/03/2015 20:03

He** app is shite! It doesn't scroll and doesn't accept the space button!

wheresthelight · 12/03/2015 20:03

thanks asky my fingers are no longer blue

HighwayDragon · 12/03/2015 20:05

School informed us this afternoon dd needs some 20ps to spend at some stalls the yr6s are doing. As many as possible, apparently, it's a competition. Hmm

Nothavingfunrightnow · 12/03/2015 20:07

AIBU to want to lose 3 stone by tomorrow night? I am going out with friends I have not seen in a while... and I was 3 stone lighter when last I saw them. Ho hum.

askyfullofstars · 12/03/2015 20:08

Here wheresthelight Brew

ghostyslovesheep · 12/03/2015 20:10

AIBU for being patronisingly polite and smiley to the little man who followed me up the road and into the gym car park to fight me over some driving slight - he didn't know what to do with himself Grin

CallMeExhausted · 12/03/2015 20:12

AIBU to have sat on my backside all day trying to get a bunch of tech set up for DH's work instead of cleaning the house?

In my defence, my Leah's are so sore I can barely walk after my first trip to the gym in 7 months while I have been recovering from a broken foot that didn't want to heal that is my excuse and I am sticking with it

CallMeExhausted · 12/03/2015 20:17

Damnit, my legs are sore. I am sure my Leah's would be just fine if I had them.

But since I am back, AIBU to have the Mumsnet app in the "productivity" section on my iPad? Grin

TheOriginalWinkly · 12/03/2015 20:18

AIBU to have said 'hey' to a little girl in the baby soft play area, who was about to push my 8 month old off the toy she was playing with? DD would've fallen over, the little girl was around 4yo.

wheresthelight · 12/03/2015 20:19

thanks asky! have some Wine in return!

I might have been unreasonable at work today when a grown man whinged that he expected me to chase him to hand his timesheets in after I have spent two weeks chasing and he didn't get paid right last week as he hadn't handed them in and I told him I wasn't his mother and I wasn't about to wipe his backside for him and if he wanted paying then he had better make sure he got them in to me

TheOddity · 12/03/2015 20:20

AIBU to want to punch the guy who disabled the HDMI for iPad on SkyGo so I can't plug it into my TV? I mean that's just unreasonable and mean. Why do something like that Sky? Why? WHY?

And AIBU to be sick of looking after husband with man flu after only the one day he has had off? Mainly because he sods off to bed at 7.30 straight after tea to leave me with toddler bedtime, toddler meltdown as no nap today and washing up, despite my loving hot lemon, ginger and honey creations for him through the day and walking to doctors for him, etc, etc.

MayLuke83 · 12/03/2015 20:33

AIBU to open the bottle of red tonight rather than tomorrow?

OrinocoTheWomble · 12/03/2015 20:35

AIBU to think that I've been to six 1 hour (hard ish) exercise classes in the last 6 days, sweated my bits off (I ache like fuck), eaten really sensibly (no carbs - only fruit and veg and chicken), survived on a weeny little glass of wine each night (can't drink as haven't eaten enough) AND I'VE LOST ABSOLUTELY NO WEIGHT. Zilch. Nothing. What is the point.

Guiltismymaster · 12/03/2015 20:38

WIBU to have asked (in a jovial tone!) 'Yes, I'll ask her to give you a call. What shall I say it's regarding?'
Apparently so as I received a speech about 'I think she knows who I am, she's not going to think I'm wasting her time. I want to talk to her, I don't want to have to tell YOU all about it.'
One of those customers who thinks he is very important to us, but is just a pain.

BathshebaDarkstone · 12/03/2015 20:40

AIBU to want to strangle DD and then DH?

Petonk · 12/03/2015 20:50

Aibu to feel picked on (by fate/germs/random luck/the gods/whatever) as I have yet another cold after 8 weeks of one cold segueing in the next and single handedly propping up the Kleenex Factory???

No-one cares and I don't blame them - it's only a cold after all - but 8 weeks!!!! For the love of God give me a break!!!

xalyssx · 12/03/2015 21:20

AIBU to buy my bridesmaids' dresses 620 days before my wedding?

WipsGlitter · 12/03/2015 21:23

AIBU to smack my colleague who presented me with a problem and a moan before I had even sat down this morning.

QueenVick · 12/03/2015 21:26

AIBU to write an 'Essay' in DD1&2's school communication book to ask why the school didn't give DH and I a heads up that they have decided to explain infanticide to our 7 and 5 year olds.
Also to ask them in future to explain such things better as the girls were still unsure about what it actually meant! Angry Angry and I had to explain it to them in a more age appropriate way!

Dowser · 12/03/2015 21:29

Aibu to be annoyed that we walked nearly a mile in searing heat for an appointment that we weren't told had been cancelled.

Also aibu Tobe so dog tired and want to go to bed at 9-30 when I didn't wake up till 11 am!!!

BellMcEnd · 12/03/2015 21:35

AIBU to be fucked off at the twat who filled his car up at the "pay at pump only" pump then pissed off into the garage to buy milk, fags and bread while I sit fuming and hungry following parent's evening? Angry
