What's today's AIBU for you?

AIBU in being annoyed I've waited all day for an important item to be delivered (guaranteed delivery) and didn't Hoover ( in case it came and I didn't hear them knock ) or go to the shops in case they came and they never turned up?

Share your woes of today in AIBU fashion :)

Aibu to feel completely frazzled? Dh away with work for 3 nights. I have 4 dcs, 13-2 years. Youngest been with me all day, apart from 90 minutes in creche, ive been food shopping, gym, dd2's assembly which I had to leave to pick dd3 up from school, dropped dd3 at ballet, picked her up then took dd1 training and waited for her. All with grumpy, tantrum ing toddler in toe. I'm now in bed trying to get tot to sleep. I demand wine.

AcrossthePond55 · 12/03/2015 21:47

AIBU to remove a snoozy Dachshund from my lap because I can't reach my glass of wine?

The Dachshund says that IABVVVVVVU but I thought I'd get a 2nd opinion.

sosix · 12/03/2015 21:50

You can't let a dog sit in the wat of wineShock

ipswichwitch · 12/03/2015 22:08

AIBU to be contemplating chloroforming the DC then myself so I can have some BASTARD SLEEP for once? Oh, and chloroform for DH so I don't have to hear him whine any more about how tired he is. I know ffs.

Immovableobject · 12/03/2015 23:24

AIBU to want to indefinitely detain the school mum who has just bragged about her DDs parents evening on FB (yeah, yeah, I know...) Seriously, can't she just glow proudly in silence while the rest of us process the bad news...

AcrossthePond55 · 12/03/2015 23:28

Thank you, sosix. Dog moved, wine obtained. Dog is Hmm. I am Grin.

I knew IWNBU, despite what the dog said.

IrmaGuard · 12/03/2015 23:32

AIBU to be astonished that three separate Londoners in the past few weeks thought Country Durham was in Ireland? And one wondered why I didn't sound Irish?

butterfly2015 · 12/03/2015 23:37

Aibu to wake oh and ask him to remove the enormous spider from the kitchen?

BellMcEnd · 13/03/2015 06:31

immovableobject YANBU. Gives me the rage Angry I have a particular FB friend who does the same. She actually calls her DS her "King" Hmm

InQuiteAPickle · 13/03/2015 06:48

AIBU to think that Frozen 2 will be a bit crap? I don't see where the hell they can go with it after the first one, although they obviously already have a story.

I will watch it, of course but it won't be good.

I'd like to be proved wrong though.

miniavenger · 13/03/2015 08:57

AIBU to want upstairs to stop running on his/her treadmill at six in the morning? I know I get up for work shortly after but it's bloody annoying.

sosix · 13/03/2015 10:45

Mini, I take it your in a flat? Thats actually really selfish of dawn runner. Wtf has a running machine in a flat unless they are ground floor?

sosix · 13/03/2015 10:51

Aibu to want to crack open the wine instead of cleaning the house and preparing for dd' party tomorrow! I mean it almosr lunch time, right? I know iabu, oh well will have to go and have another soray of rescue remedy.Grin

miniavenger · 13/03/2015 10:58

sosix I am, we live underneath them. I wouldn't mind so much if they did it after 8am or during the day but so early in the morning is just so intrusive.

miniavenger · 13/03/2015 10:59

And sosix, crack it open :)

Or do some speedy cleaning and- if it's red let it 'air', if pink/white let it chill.

SurprisedJerseySpud · 13/03/2015 11:00

AIBU and pregnancy hormone like to be pissed off the men doing the trees around the livery yard where we keep our ponies don't seem to want to do the trees when all the horses are out and away from the noise but instead seem to want to block the gate and do it when we all need access to do our ponies.

or AIBU to start shouting at them hormonally for being in my way.

Behindthepaintedgarden · 13/03/2015 11:12

That I can't find my laser card and think I've left it in another coat pocket, and now won't be able to renew my gym membership and go for a long overdue swim this evening.

Immovableobject · 13/03/2015 13:48

AIBU to be Angry that FB braggers kid's funny faces looked better than mine this morning, apparently "exceptionally bright" means "keeps still while you put face paint on" Confused

Rightokthen · 13/03/2015 14:06

Ainu not to bother with this hotel.
Booked the other day, took card details etc. no email confirmation. Rang back today. No record of booking. They said they'd have a look. And ring back. They didn't ring back I rang them. No booking. Do I want to book

FuckingLiability · 13/03/2015 14:16

AIBU to be driven absolutely spare by the noise of the person next to me typing. He types incessantly and it's making me quite stabby.

tomandizzymum · 13/03/2015 14:34

AIBU to not want to go to work this afternoon! Especially as I have to keep going into the nursery to settle my 2 year old who has been at school since Feb and just because he refuses to speak his second language, and keeps speaking to them in English they assume I have to be dragged there to translate. He's two ffs, his words are usually water, snack, mine and no!

BellsUpMyNose · 13/03/2015 14:51

askyfullofstars i want to make him walk here because im so angry but if i do he ll probably go straight to the pub with my money but if i take it to him i will get the gas electric and food. i want to tell him no im not helping you but then
