in thinking Bing is a whiney git?

Every flipping episode his poor friends have to jump through hoops to stop him whinging again. Today he's whining because he feels dizzy from spinning too much. He was warned but didn't listen and then expects everyone to jump to it when it all goes wrong. Now he's bitching because there's too many bubbles in the bath. Who ignored instructions and put extra bubblebath in the bath? As for that whiney voice, like nails down a blackboard.

ApocalypseThen · 27/02/2015 13:35

ahbollocks · 27/02/2015 13:36

Fugghetaboutit · 27/02/2015 13:37

Grin Grin he's a twat

Discopanda · 27/02/2015 13:37

One day Flop is going to snap and tell him to f*ck off!

knittingirl · 27/02/2015 13:38

Lol got home from work yesterday, dh had been off with a poorly ds, to dh moaning about how awful Bing was (or "that weird black rabbit" as he put it).

MrsCs · 27/02/2015 13:39

Totally agree, can't stand him!

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt · 27/02/2015 13:40

I wish I had Flop's patience.

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 27/02/2015 13:40

Yes, I was making ds lunch and came through for the bubble bit. Now my four year old is worried about having bubbles on the bath tonight in case they go everywhere and he gets in trouble.

Thanks for that Bing!

nipersvest · 27/02/2015 13:41

i had no idea there was a bing tv series! we bought these books about 10 years ago for dd, she has passed them on the ds and they are still a bit hit, reminds them both of when they were little.

they are both going to go crazy when show them this later, have found it on iplayer!

but yes, agree, bing is an annoying character.

For those who haven't had the misfortune:

There was an episode where Flop left his phone behind 'by accident' and they were stressing because they couldn't get hold of him. I thought it was no accident, the poor little bugger's run away.

Is Flop his carer? Is Bing SEN? And why does Pando keep taking his pants off?

There's a whiney kid in most tv shows to be honest.

Slongette · 27/02/2015 15:51

I don't do smacking but I would have smacked his bottom today - Flop told Bing, he only need one or two squirts of bubble goo to make bubbles for the bath. Bing kept putting in more bubble goo everytime Flop's back was turned.

Next thing bath overflowing with bubbles and fucking Bing can't sit in the bath because he's getting bubbles up the nose Angry. How Flop remains so calm I never know!

seastargirl · 27/02/2015 15:55

I strangely felt quite chuffed today when my 2 year old started calling me flop Smile

seastargirl · 27/02/2015 15:56

But yes he is a whinge bag of epic proportions!

BolshierAyraStark · 27/02/2015 15:58

Yep,-hate bing, the whiney twat.

Sootgremlin · 27/02/2015 16:06

I do admire Flop, but he really should put his foot down more over the whining, and he does leave them unattended with hot drinks.

But then I don't have his limitless patience or a voice like warm honey Sad

AntiquityIsOld · 27/02/2015 16:11

And he's a butterfly killer!

I actually love it, ds2 has autism and has taken to calling dh and I Flop which is sweet! And I wish I was as patient as flop too! (And I'm thankful he's stopped calling me Scraps from Mister Maker!)

I love how the grown up helpers are so much smaller so it's visually centred on the toddlers.

Notso · 27/02/2015 16:35

I thought I was alone in my dislike of Bing.

I think I find it so grating because Bing is remarkably like DS2 and I am a screechy, bad tempered old grump and nothing like the calm, mild mannered Flop. I think he must smoke weed in secret, perhaps that's what stunted his growth.

CundtBake · 27/02/2015 16:44

Flop is definitely on something/a drinker. Not even mother Theresa could have remained that calm through such twattish behaviour. I also don't understand their relationship. Is bing in care?

Winglet · 27/02/2015 19:57

I really like the show, but yeah Bing is a bit whiny and self centred. That's a toddler though?

I also really like the very cool house and furniture. Flop is incredibly chilled out and he has great taste ;)

NumTumDeDum · 27/02/2015 20:02

I like the show because it's like toddler crack and means I get to drink hot tea without constantmummy mummy. On the flip side it has meant that I am now wrestling with making a sock bing bunny as there aren't any toys out yet and ds wants to cuddle him.

seaoflove · 27/02/2015 20:05

That episode about not being able to sit in the bath because it was too bubbly stopped DD from sitting down in the bath for THREE MONTHS.

Bing's alright though. It's Pando who's an annoying little dick. Spinning Bing on the roundabout until he's about to puke, refusing to get off the swing and eventually kicking Bing in the face, falling over onto the sandcastle...

I would fix the gap in the fence if I was Flop.
