I cried over less when pregnant. Blub away!

Ispentitwithyou · 18/02/2015 16:10

I feel really bad saying this but have just sent DH out to get one! I have had a terrible week though and need comfort food. Am having the works

Ispentitwithyou · 18/02/2015 16:11

Have a good cry,you will feel better afterwards, I might cry while eating it

ReeseWithoutHerSpoon · 18/02/2015 16:12

When I read the title of the thread I thought 'no, not if you're pregnant.'

StayGoldPonyBoy · 18/02/2015 16:14

I cried in the supermarket because I couldn't choose what cereal I wanted, abandoned the basket in the aisle, and told DH who was waiting in the car that he was driving me home right now. He thought something terrible had happened. I locked myself in the bathroom for an hour and a half because he laughed at me.

Go get the KFC.

NerrSnerr · 18/02/2015 16:16

I cried because Tesco ran out of Cream Soda when pregnant. It was the worst day ever.

WaitingForMe · 18/02/2015 16:19

OP is gluten intolerant so she can't have them.

I'd cry in her shoes.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 18/02/2015 16:21

I'm having one for you OP, right this minute.

sbear22 · 18/02/2015 16:21

i cant have it cos its gluten. i might just have some and take the hit. im not working tomorrow anyway. anything to stop blubbing like a child.

Can you make one yourself using GF flour? I used to love Mum's home made fried chicken Flowers

showtunesgirl · 18/02/2015 16:24

OP, you need this in your life: www.marthastewart.com/355849/baked-buttermilk-chicken

It's like KFC but the crunchy coating is made from cornflakes. As for the ingredient of Old Bay Seasoning on this list, you can look up the ingredients and make your own but I find that the really important thing to add in the seasoning is a pinch of mixed spice, cayenne pepper and crushed bay leaves.

WorraLiberty · 18/02/2015 16:25

WaitingForMe, wouldn't that just make her feet wet?

At about 4 days post-partum, I sobbed my socks off because I'd been asleep, when the midwife visited, so dh had sent her away. I didn't need to see her! there were no problems and I had no worries - even I didn't know why I was so upset at not seeing her - and dh's little face of bafflement was a joy to behold!

OP, YABU. But then you're supposed to BU when pregnant so go ahead and have a good bellow.

YouBetterWerk · 18/02/2015 16:37

I was once so hungover that I thought about how time is just an intangible human construct and I cried on the X17 bus.
Go make yourself some GF chicken Flowers

lemisscared · 18/02/2015 16:37

will i help if i tell you that i often absolutely must have kfc but when i get it its actually shit!

emummy · 18/02/2015 16:40

Definitely YANBU; I am coeliac and regularly get v pissed off about the lack of KFC and Burger King in my life, even though the nearest ones are a 40 min drive away and we rarely went to them anyway! By the way, MacDonalds fries are gluten free, me & dd2, also coeliac, get burger with no bun and fries. Not quite the same but close!

sbear22 · 18/02/2015 16:41

YouBetterWerk - that brought a large grin! thank you!

lemiscared - you're right, it is usually shit! dunno why i'm fussing!

WhereIsMyFurryHat · 18/02/2015 16:45

Ha, I know what you mean. I am pregnant and gluten intolerant. Did you know you can get Big Macs without the bun, I had one yesterday and it scratched my itch for one.

yellowdinosauragain · 18/02/2015 16:45

Yabu because now I want bloody KFC and I'm trying to lose weight! Alright it's true that it never lives up to expectations...

DoctorDonnaNoble · 18/02/2015 16:46

Damn now I want KFC and chips with gravy. Proper chip shop chips. But, DH needs the car AND all delivery takeaways have a minimum charge! There should be a pregnancy dispensation!

MTWTFSS · 18/02/2015 16:48

I'm not pregnant, but I'd cry if it meant a magic fairy would bring me some sweet and sour chicken Grin

ThatBloodyWoman · 18/02/2015 16:52

Yabu.
Anyone is bu to want a kfc despite their condition.
Its filthy muck that gives you the shits.
