Does he conduct himself any differently to the other top male players? I bet they scream expletives as well, only difference being English speakers don't know what they're shouting.

The swearing into camera is moronic - especially given the media storm in the week about his girlfriend's swearing.

They all gurn with effort and emotion probably how they look isn't paramount in their priorities.
The screeching from the women makes me turn the TV off.

I'm not bashing Andy Murray! I think he's an average looking guy - not ugly or anything - but saying he looks a bit dinosaury amused me because he does. Not in a bad way even.

Personally I think andy Murray is a sporting hero & everyone should be proud of him. He is a fantastic ambassador for us. No drink, drugs, prostitutes,rape charges ,driving offences etc. but on you go bash him cos you don't like his looks folks. Honest to god! Bradley wiggins & Ben ainsley could hardly be described as handsome could they but I don't see any bitching about them!!

Hmm I'm not convinced by the heroism to be found in being the best at hitting a ball over a net, but good luck to the guy!

I know it's a lighthearted thread but if I started a thread comparing for example, Serena Williams to a hippo in a tutu I'd expect to get handed my arse to play with.

I seriously doubt in the midst of a serious grand slam final he gives a flying fuck how he looks or how much he swears. Or which cameras are focussing on his face when he does it! I bloody love him, he's an excellent athlete. Djokovic is a roarer as well. They don't all trip around blank faced like Federer :)

I think if I was that good and playing for such high stakes I'd swear at myself for mucking up. And that's what he did. His temper hurt only himself.

I like Andy Murray and admire his ability. I also feel the same way about Novak Djokovic. They both seem very nice people too, which is unusual in sportsmen at that level.

I think that was shown by their speeches at the end.

But people still love to hate him.

Well I think he is HOT. And a great sportsman too, obvs .
