You have my sympathy when it comes to restless legs. It's agonising!

My DH bought me some cream that was specifically for restless legs and it was my saviour!! I think it was pretty expensive so my husband was not impressed that I was constantly slathering it on Grin

TRexingInAsda · 30/01/2015 17:13

YANBU. But someone will be along shortly to tell you are, on account of the fact that they wish they were pregnant, and therefore you should suffer in silence. Preferably with an air of gratitude for the feeling of being kicked in the crotch every time you take a step.

ghostspirit · 30/01/2015 17:13

oh i never knew you could get anything for it.

What's the cream Writer?

YANBU. 25 weeks and grumpy and sore and tired here. Harumph. Grin

ghostyslovesheep · 30/01/2015 17:19

yanbu

I had horrible 'stretching pain' with number 3 ...which turned into a burst appendix at 14 weeks !!!

I also had horrid piles, heartburn, sleeplessness, mouth ulcers, low BP and endless colds

never again!!!!

Figuringitout · 30/01/2015 18:16

I am also grumpy pregnant (I know exactly what TRex is referencing) and although I am thankful I am also tired, angry, achy, peeing every 2 mins and am generally a complete bitch to live with. I'm only 17 weeks so it's going to get a while lot worse!
I'm knackered by working full time and as soon as my foot crosses the threshold my 3yr old is constantly asking, 'mummy play with me' and will not be pacified with non vigorous activity!
Blergh. Moan over - that felt good.
On the plus side, my husband has the patience of a saint!

Dionysuss · 30/01/2015 18:30

Yanbu at all.
I was in so much pain during the last few month with DS. I couldn't walk anywhere as there was so much pressure and my pelvis would click. I couldn't lay down for long as I had awful heart burn. Achey legs meant I had to keep changing sides every half hour at night. He was breech so I was constantly short of breath and dizzy where I couldn't breathe properly. I also had sickness the whole pregnancy. Every morning I would be sick, and then pee myself abit too Sad

Newshoesplease · 30/01/2015 18:34

Yanbu.
My vag hurts.
I have a painful varicose vein.
My stomach aches.
My hips are clicking.
My pelvis feels like it's being ripped open.
I'm 20 weeks-roll on June! !
We'll get there guys! Grin

YANBU.

My places are itchy as hell but scratching is vulgar and only makes me sorer. I can't go out either incase I'm arrested for public indecency if the curse of the itchy vag strikes Sad

Bair · 30/01/2015 18:58

YANBU!

'But someone will be along shortly to tell you are, on account of the fact that they wish they were pregnant, and therefore you should suffer in silence.'

I came in expecting to see this actually.

Moan away. Took me 3 years to get pregnant this time and I haven't stopped whinging. Smile My nipples and huge and itchy, I puke all the time, I piss like a racehorse, my fanny feels weird and I'm sooooo tired. Glad to be pregnant, but a holiday it isn't.

Bonbonbonbon · 30/01/2015 19:00

YANBU! I'm expecting twins in May, I'm 23 weeks but i already look and feel like at least 7 months.

My hips are killing me, the heartburn is already starting, and I feel terrible for not doing more with my 2yo dd. She can't even run around the park because it's -10 here. My only consolation is that twins usually deliver early and I won't ever have to do this again.

I found eating bananas really helped my leg cramps.

mandy214 · 30/01/2015 19:03

I'll go against the grain as Trexing predicted. At your gestation, my twins were a day old and they spent the next 2 months in SCBU whilst I wondered whether they'd ever make it home. 9 years on, I still have a chip on my shoulder (I readily accept I'm not objective!) about people saying its uncomfortable. Yes, I am sure it is, but not quite as painful as watching your 2lb baby hooked up to a million wires fighting for life.

So sorry, I think you're being a bit unreasonable. Grit your teeth, and thank your lucky stars you get to experience the next 12 weeks and no doubt a perfectly healthy baby at the end of it Smile

yougotafastcar · 30/01/2015 19:04

Yanbu. I'm 34 weeks & desperate for week 37 to hurry up so I can start wishing her out!

lisaloulou84 · 30/01/2015 19:08

Yanbu - I have added up the value of gaviscon and oesteopath appointments so DS can reimburse me with something gorgeous to the same value when he's older! Grin

BreeVDKamp · 30/01/2015 19:09

YANBU. My skin is crap, my hair is frizzy and thin, I have backache and bump pains :( and I am a bit miserable today and yesterday! Where is the Pregnancy Glow going to make an appearance? What a swiz :(

BreeVDKamp · 30/01/2015 19:10

I'm 25 weeks btw and worried about every symptom and PPROM!

Bonbonbonbon · 30/01/2015 19:12

Mandy214, I'm very sorry that happened to you, no one should have to go through that. I'm very glad your babies had a good outcome. My own DH was born 9 weeks early and I know how hard it was on my MIL. I was lucky to have an easy labor and healthy baby the first time, and crossing my fingers this one is the same.

However, that does not invalidate my experience or anyone else's. Each of us is on our own journey, facing unique challenges. The fact that we all have experienced the highs and lows of conception, pregnancy, labor and motherhood is what binds us all together. Every mother's experience is legit and valid, and I believe we all should be holding each other up as sisters, not comparing and rating and judging our pains.

Irelephant · 30/01/2015 19:14

YANBU and I say that as a mother of a preemie and a stillborn. If one more person tells me I should consider myself lucky I'm going to kick them in the crotch and see how they like it Angry

QueenofLouisiana · 30/01/2015 19:19

YANBU- I did it once and am glad to never have done it again!

For the restless legs- put your feet in cold water for 10 minutes. It really does help.

scrivette · 30/01/2015 19:25

YANBU. I am only 16 weeks, feel huge and ill, sick and tired. I didn't feeling like this when pregnant with DS. I feel like all I have done for the past 14 weeks is moan!

WiiUnfit · 30/01/2015 19:56

YANBU OP, I remember restless legs with silent fury and still get the painful vag feeling 3.5 years on with every Auntie Flo Angry

humlebee7 · 30/01/2015 20:25

I hear ya. I'm 31 weeks. My undercarriage feels like it's been kicked, I pee myself quite regularly (a wee bit, sneezing particularly dangerous), my nipples are huge and have felt like joggers nipple for weeks, I get breathless and light headed with any exertion (especially housework...), the baby inside bounces it's head off my bladder regularly. I'm soooooooo tired all the time and crabbit as hell. I have pelvic, hip and back pains. Constipation and piles. I also have extremely hairy legs, unpainted toes as I can't reach anymore.

I finish work in 7 weeks and can't decide if it's easier to be lumbering around when pregnant after a 2 year old which is relentless. Or having a newborn and a 2 year old to cope with. I guess I'll soon find out as not much can do about it now!!

For my first pregnancy I kept up the Brazilian waxing so the midwives wouldn't be appalled by my hairy muff. This time I couldn't give a shit.

I am such a moan. I just hope all turns out well so I don't have to do it again.

And DH isn't keen on a vasectomy. He may just have to settle on celibacy then.

scratchandsniff · 30/01/2015 20:35
