If FB annoys you so much then may I suggest you only add people you like or learn how to use hide and unfriend.

Or at least use the FB topic on here so I can hide all the whining threads in one go.

Thank you.

FB whining is the new P & C parking.

i don't get what's so wrong with being attention seeking, to some on here it's a crime.

Lweji · 23/01/2015 20:52

You can certainly wish.
Here, to help. Just scrub it.

The whole point of FB is to seek attention.

I hate FB. But I'm old and don't understand how it works. I like and understand Twitter though!

ItsAllKickingOffPru · 23/01/2015 20:57

If it's for attention it's for the good of your mental health, surely?

Depends on the attention. Some people use social networks to fill a void that would be best addressed by rl means. But I don't have Attention Seeking Missiles on my Fb so that's ok Grin

usualsuspect333 · 23/01/2015 20:58

I'm old and can understand and know how to use FB.

Twitter baffles me though Grin

That's odd, Chavaloy, I just don't get Twitter at all. I've tried, but it just seems like a whole load of shouting into the void with no connections that aren't superficial.

southeastastra · 23/01/2015 21:00

i think twiter is fine if you have lots of 'friends' or are famous.

stalking famous people is quite dull as they don't usually answer you Grin

What would you prefer MNers to complain about Usual?

Is there an approved list I should consult?

usualsuspect333 · 23/01/2015 21:02

I've tried to like twitter.

I find Twitter moves too fast for me and I never rememebr to check it often enough!

usualsuspect333 · 23/01/2015 21:04

Well I dunno,blue.

Mad dogs? Cat shit? baby ear piercing?

Or twitter? Never see a twitter whining thread.

OP posts:
southeastastra · 23/01/2015 21:05

they could complain about people who always go on about a mn 'approved list'

Lweji · 23/01/2015 21:05

Or because their lives are hardly more interesting than ours. Let alone their opinions.

  • DS is reading about football tricks
  • cat is watching me type
  • heavily tattoed man on tv tells interviewer he used to watch Ellen's show all the time on tv when he was in prison.

See, no celebrity can top that.

Sparklingbrook · 23/01/2015 21:06

FB is hilarious. I find it fascinating, but don't have it myself.

As a teen I would have been all over it big time.

MrsBertMacklin · 23/01/2015 21:06

YANBU, but it's the old 'posting here for traffic' - FB topic difficult to find and never appears on Active.

Same reason I've posted 'help me plan dinners' to Chat this evening, not in Food.

Lweji · 23/01/2015 21:06

I've tried to like twitter.

But you couldn't find the like button? Grin
