Your other post was in AIBU, but it wasn't really an AIBU question. You had one reply suggesting that you repost in employment. Did you try that?
Sometimes people get pissed off when people post stuff on AIBU purely for traffic and that's why they don't respond.
Also at the time you posted, AIBU is very busy which means that threads can drop down the active list very quickly.
Your situation is very unfair but I honestly have no advice to give you. You are at the mercy of the agency. With hindsight, saving up for contingencies would have been a good idea but too late now. You could borrow off a friend but I guess you have thought of that. If people feel that they have nothing to offer, they also tend to not respond.
Hold on, my friend got scammed recently by a non-scam, she got her money back but we strongly suspect that the goods she bought did not exist. She was fully refunded straight away so the only benefit we could think of to the scammer was an interest free loan! You could do what her "scammer" did, advertise something expensive online, take payment, claim it's been sent, pretend to the buyer that you are chasing up the couriers and eventually pretend to send it again via a different courier before eventually offering a full refund. (Disclaimer -no idea if it would actually work like that, it could be risky!)
