I know that surgery is the answer to this question, but how can someone look so different?! Has this happened over time or has she just been in for an extreme makeover?

The Bridget Jones lady, though tbh only because someone showed me a picture earlier. I'm not sure why she looks different, she looks more mature but I don't think that's it.i love her dress.

I just saw this - couldn't believe it. She looks totally unrecognisable. Hard to believe someone could change their facial appearance so much.

She had such a beautiful face, what a shame she wasn't happy with it. It's actually aged her so much.

It looks like her face is a completely differet shape, like her cheekbones are in a different place.

I'm not against plastic surgery per se, it's her face she can do what she likes

It's quite scary that a face can be altered so much , I feel for her that she suffers such low esteem.

I've been having a good look at this one doing the rounds, I think it's a combination of having lost weight off her face that's completely changed the 'chipmunk' look she was sort of famous for (one of the downsides of losing weight), and she's clearly had some work done round her eyes, which has unfortunately changed their shape too.

daily mail link they have a 'now and then' photos side to side, I don't think her lips look bigger, if anything they look smaller now (but that's natural that you lose some plumpness over time), her eyebrows look completely different too, but that could be make up and plucking. She's clearly had botox on that forehead,but that alone won't make such a difference.

I think she's had work done to her upper eyelids and while it looks fine, it's removed a lot of her character from her face. If you look at the 'before and after' photos and cover the eyes, the mouth and lower face looks thinner, but not drastically different, it's those 'bed eyes' she's got rid of, and that (plus the plumpness round her cheeks) gave her face the difference.

gonna be all po faced here but if you had surgery wouldn't you want people to be nice about it......the whole internet is freaking out. I say leave her alone.

She looks older. Like she's been on drugs or had some horrible treatment to age her. Actually, she looks like a different person altogether. Like Renee Zellewegers mum. Not Renee herself.

Agree with most of what you said but it's my recollection that even skinny in films like Chicago she had chipmunk cheeks

It's deffo the work round the eyes she has had done as you say

there's also the possibly that if it's an eyelid lift, it could be because she needed some work done if one eyelid drooped more than the other. Most woman get some eyelid drop as they get older, but Renee started with very droopy upper eyelids, gave her face a different look, but as she aged, that might not have aged well.
