You could try pouring a full kettle of boiling water on it? That would both cook/kill it and send it down the plughole.

You could follow up with a squirt of the MN Finest Drain Cleaning range (aka hair removal cream) and then you'd be certain to have killed off the sucker...

Lol. Was treating a patient yesterday. Went to wash my hands and in the sink a spider bigger than yours was there. I screamed and my older male patient came to my rescue. So shamed how unprofessional I was. I kept saying it was the shock as didn't expect it..... :-(.
