Next year it will be as long since Back to the Future was released, as it was as far back in time as Marty travelled in the film (1985-1955)

PedlarsSpanner · 06/07/2014 16:26

Bloody hell.

I thought I was the height of cool in my baggy dungarees.

mercifulgibbon · 06/07/2014 18:35

I feel so old. Jurassic park is 20. That means I've probably seen it around 50 odd times :/

AuntieStella · 06/07/2014 18:36

PedlarsSpanner - AAARGH!

MehsMum · 06/07/2014 18:46

Oh, stop it. I'm still YOUNG. Really.

Jurassic Park is 20? Nah, that can't be right: that was surely only released a few years back...

WhereDoAllTheCalculatorsGo · 06/07/2014 18:49

And in the second back to the future movie he went forward to 2015. There were hover -boards.

MrsMikeDelfino · 06/07/2014 18:59

The fact next year is 2015, freaks me out. We'll have officially reached the future. Where the hell all the hoverboards are and the Skyways, well they'd better get cracking as I FULLY intend to have a hovercraft next year otherwise my whole childhood was a lie! Smile

mercifulgibbon · 06/07/2014 19:00

I keep thinking we aren't that far from 2000 but we really are now!

HappyAgainOneDay · 06/07/2014 19:04

Well, I saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the cinema .........

Everard · 06/07/2014 19:05

I'd like to know how we got to 2014 overnight. I swear a couple of years ago it was the 1990s. Do you realise, there are grown adults walking around, not just-out-of-teenagehood, but proper adults with degrees and jobs and children of their own, who were born in the 1990s? That doesn't seem possible to me.

startwig1982 · 06/07/2014 19:12

Robin Hood Prince of Thieves is 23 years old. The first film I saw at the cinema! No wonder the kids I teach haven't seen it!
