Just saw it in another thread.

OP posts:
ICanSeeTheSun · 16/06/2014 13:44

It's the English flag for the World Cup.

GreenCurlyTeeth · 16/06/2014 13:44

It means we support England in the world cup Smile

SarcyMare · 16/06/2014 13:45

i thought it was the england flag(george cross), some sort of thing they had set up, as i saw another flag next to someone's name (french maybe)

userfame · 16/06/2014 13:45

Oh. How do you do that?

OP posts:
greenhill · 16/06/2014 13:46

Look at the site stuff stickie at the top of active conversations for the explanation Smile

Nomama · 16/06/2014 13:46

Holy Effing Shit!

That is disgusting. If you go to your account you can 'select your favourite team'

FUCK OF TO THE FURTHEST EDGE OF WHEREVER THE FUCK CARES!

(Can you tell I don't do football? And that I have learned a little bit of the MN hyperbole Smile)

GreenCurlyTeeth · 16/06/2014 13:46

Go Into my mumsnet and its in your profile settings.

TillyTellTale · 16/06/2014 13:47

Here you go. Lots of choices!

ICanSeeTheSun · 16/06/2014 13:49

I want a little flag but don't really like football. Would it be wrong if I put the flag of my favourite food origin.

TillyTellTale · 16/06/2014 13:49

Nomama

Where?!

I don't have that! Are you in with MNTech?!

Andrewofgg · 16/06/2014 13:50

Nomama Would you feel happier if it was cricket? Grin

I share your pain. Bored shitless with bloody football. 22 rich men kicking a bit of plastic round a field into an overgrown fishing-net with ideas above its station . . . I'd rather watch the test card.

fluffyraggies · 16/06/2014 13:55

Don't get me started on any sport. I love sport, I used to be very sporty, have a physiology degree and taught all about sport, for years and years and years.

But ye gods, give me the strength to survive the bloody football. I could happily watch it if it weren't for the bloody commentators talking tosh and the prima donnas on the pitch forgetting what their feet are for, being all clever clever - just kick it, yes you can, You can kick it, yes you can!

Nope. Can't be doing with it. Fortunately DH hates it much more than I do, so there is no chance it will be on in our house!

scarletforya · 16/06/2014 13:59
Football

The filthy ruffians!

UsedtobeFeckless · 16/06/2014 14:00

Whatever - it's only a bit of fun! Personally I don't watch it either but DP cares so mine is a vicarious little red cross ...

Nomama · 16/06/2014 14:03

(Wish I got paid that much for a bit of fun)

RiverTam · 16/06/2014 14:06

I like the way if you hover over a flag it tells you the country. Today I have learnt that what I though was the Israeli flag (are they even in the World Cup?) was in fact the flag of Honduras. Who knew, eh?

UsedtobeFeckless · 16/06/2014 14:08

Nomama ... I meant the flags.

Nomama · 16/06/2014 14:12

I know! I'm just determined to be grumpy Smile

HayDayQueen · 16/06/2014 14:13

Well they don't have a snow flakes chance in hell of winning but I'll support them anyway!!

ICanSeeTheSun · 16/06/2014 14:15

Testing

HayDayQueen · 16/06/2014 14:16

I think you must have bumped your head ICanSeeTheSun - there's stars floating about you......

LastMinuteLil · 16/06/2014 14:18

Has it worked?

AnnaLegovah · 16/06/2014 14:18

Well some of us love the football and dont feel the need to whinge endlessly every 4 years when the world cup's on the telly.

Loving the little flags, can we get an England smily as well as the Football one please MNHQ? Grin
