I have as well, it's freezing!

sonlypuppyfat · 27/05/2014 20:40

My dad swore that heating makes you soft seems he wasn't wrong!!

MrsDavidBowie · 27/05/2014 20:41

Mine's been on for 2 days. Otherwise washing would not be dry.

AnyoneforTurps · 27/05/2014 20:42

Mine's on.

Orangeanddemons · 27/05/2014 20:43

Same here. Dull, grey, 10 degrees, just like November

LynetteScavo · 27/05/2014 20:44

YANBU - my heating is set if it gets below 18'C. It has come on by itself a few times in the past few days.

GiveTwoSheets · 27/05/2014 20:44

Mine been on and yesterday, I really don't know how I managed to grow up in a house without central heating

honeybeeridiculous · 27/05/2014 20:45

I'm sat here with a fleecy blanket round me, it's flippin chilly!!

NotYouNaanBread · 27/05/2014 20:46

Mine has been set to 18.5 since Monday.

EugenesAxe · 27/05/2014 20:47

Grin at Great British Topics. YANBU - I just have a thermostat and let the temp decide if the heating comes on. I think it's set around 17degs at the moment and our heating has come on!

Completely repeated Lynette there.

CloverHeart · 27/05/2014 20:56

Heating has been on all day here. Freezing!!!!

MyCarHasBrokenDownAgain · 27/05/2014 21:00

I've had half a bottle of red wine Wine. I'm no longer chilly! :-D

peachactiviaminge · 27/05/2014 21:03

I only have a tshirt and underwear on its warm enough even with our bathroom window open. We had external insulation installed last year and it does an amazing job.

wobblyweebles · 27/05/2014 21:04

Considering where I live I think it's reasonable to say I'm not soft.

However my heating is still on :-)

lowcarbforthewin · 27/05/2014 21:06

Mine would be on if the boiler wasn't broken.

morethanacondiment · 27/05/2014 21:10

A few years ago in the May half term, we were working in our NHS converted sanitarium office (think BIG windows and draughts) report-writing in our coats, scarves and gloves. Our manager sent us all home Blush
Bloody summer.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/05/2014 21:12

I'm wearing thermals Sad I think it's going to be a wet summer.

FamiliesShareGerms · 27/05/2014 21:12

YANBU - if it's so cold and damp tomorrow the fire is going on

hoobypickypicky · 27/05/2014 21:14

The heating has come back on, I'm in warm pj's and a bathrobe and I have red wine.

Last week it was windows open, shorts and t shirt and cold beer.

Don'tcha just love a British summer. Grin

Doinmummy · 27/05/2014 21:14

I've just flicked mine on . I put a cardigan , socks and slippers to warm up which I did a bit but the air feels damp in my house . Just had cavity insulation done - it's not working !!

Bluetubchairs · 27/05/2014 21:16

Thanks for reminding me why I'm effing freezing. Heating goes o right now. Bloody weather.

MrsMook · 27/05/2014 21:18

Our heating is back on. One or two hours to take the edge off the chill makes a big difference. The problem with this house is drafty floors, so the main air temperature can be ok on the thermometer, but chilled feet drain you.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 27/05/2014 21:18

YABU it's nearly June.

Laska42 · 27/05/2014 21:22

Well , mine is still off, but im just going to go hibernate under the duvet with book and Brew (and long sleeved pjs and bedsocks

....Ergh! the cat has just come in, jumped up on my lap and stuck his face into mine demanding his dinner ... And he is absolutely soaking wet..Hmm.... The Last Straw, that is.. I'm off to bed.. ... (well once ive fed the dear pusscat (DPC) of course ) ... (and luckily for him we are some way from the cats protection place,)
