He bought me THE WRONG CHOCOLATE!

DP is very much versed in the correct my opinion of chocolate. It generally has to be Cadbury's, it has to not be messed with!

'Do not mess with my chocolate' is an oft repeated phrase.

He was sent for wine and as a bonus bought me some chocolate. what is he after, no chance, I start a new job tomorrow

All well and good but the chocolate he brought home was Nestles 'Wonka' bar with Creme Brulee in it.

I haven't tried it yet because of pigging out on yummy chesses and hovis biscuits and it may well be lovely, but I still think HIBU!

Ltb

FlyingGoose · 25/05/2014 19:41

I agree, wouldn't touch Nestle chocolate with a barge pole. My DP gets 'the eye' when he gets it wrong Grin

PinkLemons · 25/05/2014 19:41

YABU he bought you chocolate. He is god.

goshhhhhh · 25/05/2014 19:42

I second that - yes ltb. V inconsiderate buying the wrong unsolicited chocolate. He should know better esp., as you are starting a new job.

ShakesBootyFlabWobbles · 25/05/2014 19:48

Why don't you say to him, thanks but I only like Cadbury's, could you possibly nip back out and get me some and I will love you forever and tonight too in spite of the new job tomorrow ?

ShakesBootyFlabWobbles · 25/05/2014 19:48

If he refuses, then most definitely LTB Grin

Meerka · 25/05/2014 19:49

The bastard.

Salt in his coffee!

ICanSeeTheSun · 25/05/2014 19:50

At least you got the wine to get over this betrayal

mumof5plusazoo · 25/05/2014 19:50

I have to agree with you cadbury's is the only chocolate. I have spent nearly 11 years training my dh on this Grin

MammaTJ · 25/05/2014 19:50

I just said 'You know this isn't Cadburys' and he said 'You're eating it aren't you?'

Fair point. It is not too bad. DD is staying up to watch BGT and is very kindly helping me with it! Grin

Meerka,my dear, I need to explain something to you. You may have to sit down for this.

I never make tea or coffee when DP is home, he always does it.

Good god there must be something in the water. My DH presented me with some chocolate this afternoon, my idea of choc is cadburys either whole nut or fruit and nut, i do not change from these two. We have been together 15 years you would think he should know this by now.

What does he present to me?................ A fucking yorkie AngryAngry

Heathcliff27 · 25/05/2014 19:54

Oh and LTB

AdoraBell · 25/05/2014 19:54

So he's gobby as well as buying the wrong chocolate.

What relationship messages is he teaching your poor innocent DDHmm

ShakesBootyFlabWobbles · 25/05/2014 19:55

A Yorkie??? Sad Another LTB Grin

MammaTJ · 25/05/2014 19:55

Yorkie? Never mind LTB-more like KTB!! Disgusting stuff! The big butch lorry driver men can keep it!

OP posts:
trikken · 25/05/2014 19:56

Oh this is nothing, dh once gave away my cake. Made especially for me.

Chocolate has to be galaxy here, but don't eat it often any more.

Heathcliff27 · 25/05/2014 19:57

Not even a fruit yorkie, it was a plain one, liberty I tell ya! No way my gnashers will break through one of those!! He'll be sleeping on the couch tonight!

MammaTJ · 25/05/2014 19:58

So he's gobby as well as buying the wrong chocolate.

That as well as his big dick and ability to use it is his main good point. plus the fact he does so much with the DC, supports me in all I do, does everything in the mornings when I am non functioning

OP posts:
PrincessBabyCat · 25/05/2014 19:59

Shock What was he thinking?

Divorce. Now.

Life's too short to be putting up with someone else's bullshit.

Grin
MammaTJ · 25/05/2014 20:00

trikken, what circumstances lead him to give away your cake? There can be no reason good enough, surely!

OP posts:
ClockWatchingLady · 25/05/2014 20:01

This is basically abuse - you need to leave tonight (but eat it first).

ICanSeeTheSun · 25/05/2014 20:02

What is wrong with men these day..... Giving a cake a way, what possessed him to even think of that.

What? Seriously, is this the life we want for our daughters? Firstly the wrong chocolate and then someone is giving away cake. I am shocked. Shocked.
