Lost all my data recently backed up so only a few photos of cats.

I haven't even updated mine to iOS 7 yet! Didn't like it on ipad so haven't bothered.

I usually wait a few weeks just in case, thanks for the warning.

I'm too lazy to update mine.

I've done it on my iPad and phone.
No problems at all. Took about 10 minutes.

THIS is exactly why I ditched my iphone and will never update my ipad.

Apple are really screwing things up.

Well, we have examples here of several people having no problem versus one who has - it might be a bit premature to say 'Apple are really screwing things up', OhNo.
Having said that, I might hang on for a bit to see what happens...

My iPhone and iPad are fine after the update. Good job as I didn't even think twice about updating!

We have three iPhones and two iPads and they have all been updated with no problems.
Maybe you were just unlucky OP.

Haven't updated iPad yet - I usually am too lazy wait a bit.

Am still on iPhone 3 so iOS 7 not valid for that anyway.

I did two iPhones and an ipad with no issues so maybe just a few people have been unlucky

I don't have enough memory to update mine.

iPad updated no problem but I only joined the tablet age a week or so ago. No posh phone..

DH updated his iPhone last night and lost nearly everything!

I've done it on the iPad, I won't be doing it on my iPhone.

Just unlucky then as well as Lid's DH.

Perhaps Apple have fixed the issue.

I didn't think twice (iphone and ipad) and no probs here either.

I did mine this morning - no problems noticed thus far

We have updated 2 iPhones with no problems
Just iPads to do

Oh god i haven't updated mine yet. i would be the one to lose all mine :(

Did mine a few days ago with no trouble at all.
