Absolutely rocks and is a far more efficient use of money than anti ageing face creams??

I will be 30 this year and have terrible 11's which I desperately want rid of. Dh hates the thought of Botox though...and it's expensive...

Would I be really satisfied with the results??

wigglesrock · 14/08/2014 08:35

My friend gets it done twice a year, she looks great and she's happy with the results. She's 41/42.

RonaldMcDonald · 14/08/2014 08:37

Completely agree
Use a sunscreen and botox

If you inject deadly poison into your body be aware that you it may cause terrible side effects - see link above.

beccajoh · 14/08/2014 08:50

It might get rid of wrinkles but you're fooling no one. 50 year old women with shiny, smooth faces just look bloody weird IMO. No one believes you're still 25.

paxtecum · 14/08/2014 08:56

I think it is sad that we cannot embrace the ageing process, but feel we have to look forever young and are willing to poison ourselves to achieve that.

Bollocking phone.
My sil has been getting it for years. At first she looked a lot younger and fresher.which fucked me off as she is the same age as me, and when people would say how she didn't look her age, I would want to yell petulantly yeah well shes had BOTOX! Now having a conversation with her is odd (er) than ever, as she does look frozen.
Fillers scare me too, as that can look bizarre. I am saving up for an old fashioned face lift.in the meantime, will just sport a veeery tight ponytail....

maddy68 · 14/08/2014 09:45

I love Botox. I think it needs t be done soaringly so it doesn't look odd. It has also stopped my eyelid droop Fabulous.

paxtecum · 14/08/2014 12:34

Presumably botox users are willing to overlook any adverse health implications because they consider botox makes them look younger.

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 14/08/2014 13:22

Kirsty Young anyone? I can't concentrate on what she's saying I'm too busy working out what's happening with her face. I really like her too so I'll just stick to Desert Island Discs. Sad

OldFarticus · 14/08/2014 13:36

YANBU. Best money I ever spent.

Fillers are crap OTOH.

Numfardothedanceofshame · 14/08/2014 13:38

Brilliant for headaches, had it done at the local pain clinic. Would never use it cosmetically because not being able to move certain muscles felt bizarre to me. Also, the stinging. Not fun.

ADHDNoodles · 14/08/2014 13:43

Whatever works for you. :)

I don't think I'd get it. But we'll see what happens when I get unsightly wrinkles. Grin

CouldntGiveAMonkeysToss · 14/08/2014 14:09

YANBU, each to their own. I think some people look great with it, others look a bit overdone. It's not something I'd ever have myself though I am still in my twenties so no wrinkles yet. The prospect of aging doesn't really bother me much.
