Yes bluepen - LJ wrote a few weeks ago that she had only just found out about the thread - which is a bit odd as there were lots of comments on the DM site about it.
According to LJ the OP was in the same social circle as LJ's boyfriend.

I didn't think you were Thumb . The threads move so fast that cross posts can make things look a little awkwardly arranged on the page.

Could LJ have a case against mumsnet, if mumsnet were shown to be slow to act?

Bluepen - yes, I believe so - if they allowed libellous statements to stand after their attention had been drawn to it, and didn't remove it within 24h (?) then she could have a case against them. I remember reading something about it a few years back, pretty sure the Problem with GF/SWMNBN was one of the reasons that laws were changed, but I could be misremembering.

Either slow to act to taking down the post. Or slow to act as regards to the timing of the reply to the complaint from mumsnet.

Bluepen - you're making a lot of random assumptions. NannyOgg has just made a post on this particular thread, talking about the issue, mentioning the fact that LJ was supposedly seen taking cocaine by another MNer, who LJ knows in RL.

Justine knows who the MNer is through her login, which has an email address that would get back to the RL poster, of course.
