Clever? I think devious is the word you are looking for.

Minorchristmascrisis · 11/03/2014 17:22

Or desperate maybe?

SolomanDaisy · 11/03/2014 17:22

Not very clever, no.

SleepPleaseSleep · 11/03/2014 17:23

I wonder why the other children, and now this baby despite her obvious desperation to keep it, were taken off her.

Very sad in principle. But don't know background.

Icimoi · 11/03/2014 17:24

No, utterly stupid on every front.

expatinscotland · 11/03/2014 17:25

Clever, no. Manipulative and devious.

CloverHeart · 11/03/2014 17:25

Clever? Are you serious?

She had three other children taken away and then stole someone's identity to try and keep a fourth despite this..... and you think that's clever? Wow.

BrianTheMole · 11/03/2014 17:26

Thats a very sad story.

meditrina · 11/03/2014 17:27

And now, any woman giving birth there and arriving without her notes will not be discharged until her identity has been confirmed by the hospital, police and social services.

Still think she's "clever"?

eurochick · 11/03/2014 17:27

Clever? Really?

hellymelly · 11/03/2014 17:29

Sad. Not clever. Tragic that she is so desperate to keep this baby whilst clearly being unable to be a good parent.

BlackholesAndRevelations · 11/03/2014 17:30

Awful

ReputableBiscuit · 11/03/2014 17:31

Yes clever. Clever doesn't preclude sad, devious, manipulative, illegal or wrong. I just think it was an unexpected and rather cunning thing to try.

OP posts:
Bloodyteenagers · 11/03/2014 17:33

Why do you think her actions were clever?
Is this something that you think all parents who will have their children removed should do?

Floggingmolly · 11/03/2014 17:33

She's had four children removed from her care... There's a lot of words to describe that; clever isn't one of them Hmm

hiddenhome · 11/03/2014 17:34

If she was that clever, she wouldn't have had her other kids taken from her. Perhaps she should have used her brain to develop her parenting skills rather than cooking up devious plans to avoid social services.

tethersend · 11/03/2014 17:34

Clever, yes.

In the same way that child abusers can be clever.

ReputableBiscuit · 11/03/2014 17:34

FFS saying that it's clever doesn't mean i agree with it

OP posts:
Nicknacky · 11/03/2014 17:36

Well, using the word clever implies you are impressed.

LadyBeagleEyes · 11/03/2014 17:36

It's identity theft and a crime. It happens all the time with people having their whole bank accounts wiped out and criminal gangs use it too.
It's nothing new and this woman could have been the next newspaper headline when her baby was found too late by SS.
Why is this any way clever?

MostWicked · 11/03/2014 17:37

Don't see how that is clever.
The child could have been at serious risk.
