p.s I don't mean I've been wearing them continuously for 4 months - they get washed

Snap! DD is almost 11m and I have just received a lingerie order this morning as I was getting sick of nursing bras. The matching pants don't look very big or comfortable....... think they may spend a lot of time in the drawer!!

My name is McMardyBum, I am 28, I wear granny pants and I like them!

TheRogueBludger · 25/02/2014 15:25

yay, my first thread and I'm not unreasonable!

I draw the line at Asda though...M&S all the way!

DD is 2 and I'm still in my gigantic pants. I love them.

Felix90 · 25/02/2014 15:26

Yep, asda basic huge black pants. I'm 23 Sad

StickyProblem · 25/02/2014 15:27

I was in a thong every day till I had DD. 9 years on and the granny pants I moved into after giving birth are still on! (have washed them a few times since obvs).
Mind you I am 46 and have a big fat pile-ridden arse. #NoBigPantsShame

Binkyridesagain · 25/02/2014 15:28

I introduced my 21year old DD to the world of the granny pant, (she has not had children), she's never looked back and has converted a few of her girlfriends to them.

YANBU

I had a csection five months ago. Now the emergency pants have been dumped so I bought my usual size in a more granny like version Grin
Ahhhh, the comfort. Some even have lace so I am not too bad??

Xenadog · 25/02/2014 15:50

I'm 11 weeks pp after a csec and I have worn nothing except my black Asda granny pants. I luuuurve them! When I have lost my baby weight (and the 3 stone I had to lose before getting pregnant) I will have nice, new, shiny, sexy pants but until then..... Grin

rainbowfeet · 25/02/2014 16:03

I love big pants, hate the feeling of the post c-section roll & side fat bits hanging out of knickers ... Like the wobbly bits under some sort of control Grin

pigsinmud · 25/02/2014 16:06

YANBU

I mean why would someone wear a thong? Confused

Stinklebell · 25/02/2014 16:08

YANBU

I love my granny pants. Thongs are the work of the devil!

JennyOnAPlate · 25/02/2014 16:11

Yanbu.

I've been in mine since dd1 was born 6 years ago! Every christmas and birthday my ever hopeful dh buys me some thongs etc. They never get worn.

Sallyingforth · 25/02/2014 16:58

I hate thongs too. Soft smooth cotton knickers for me (but often none in summer)

Chattymummyhere · 25/02/2014 17:09

I say yanbu as it's personal preference but got I could not I only wear granny pants when I'm on or just given birth

JonSnowKnowsNothing · 25/02/2014 17:10

No yanbu! I have a few pairs of these. Lovely, man-made comfiness.
they hold in my fat apron

StarGazeyPond · 25/02/2014 17:24

Sloggis all the way for me!

EssexGurl · 25/02/2014 18:30

I even had maternity things! But 2 kids later comfy pants are definitely the way to go!

EssexGurl · 25/02/2014 18:31

Things?! Thongs?! Stupid auto correct.
