this happened yesterday, at the time i was freaked out and quite tearfull.. i suffer from anxity as it is, and this set me off!

friday i ordered pizza from just eat website, the guy drops it off and starts chatting me up .. besides the fact that only a creep would chat some one up infront of thier two young children he set of my creep o mtere as it where.

any way.. i laughed it of as some sad creep.

fast forward to last night, where i get a phone call on my mobile.
its the same guys. he first starts off with "hi, its me. did you order a pizza tonight, as our computers are play up yeah ok i say no than he goes on to says " how are you, how are the kids, i dont feel you should be alone, i am worried about you"

i hanged up.

im a lone parent so its just me and the boys in m y flat. it really freaked me out. then i thought hang on, hes had to go through records to get my phone number, as i had ordered from a third party site just eat.

he than phones back about 30-40 minutes later with out listenign to what he is saying i say " stop calling me your creeping me out" and hang up.

iv told some really life friends and tried to laugh it off, some have said that i need to report him to the police or at least the company.

once my anxty had clamed down, i wasnt as freaked out and panicing.. should i?

what if i do and he loses hes job or gets disaplined and than trys to get his own back, he knows where i live and my mobile.

i had tried to talk to my best friend but i get the impression she thinks im being a drama queen and shoudl just laugh it off.

Report him, he may have done this before/ do this again. It's not the right way to act as an employee.

Report it to just eat - they have a live on-line chat type thing that I've used when having problems with an order.

I'd non emergency police it (101?) if you have anymore problems.

that is freaky and stalkerish and he definitely needs reporting to the police. so what if he gets in trouble with his work etc, HE IS IN THE WRONG and it's NOT YOUR FAULT

Yup report him and the take away shop you ordered from to trading standards (through local council) its not right for them to contact you like that. Block the number on ur fone then the mosst hell get is your ancwerfone and you get taped message you can take to the police if it comes to it.

I agree-report him to his employer and the police. And I agree it's a good idea to get a male friend to make the call to his work demanding to know why his girlfriend's being harassed. Good luck!

he does. when he droped the food of friday he said "so its just you here then, no valintine" my 8 year old quickly chipped in with "its just us, were haing pizza as a treat" something along thous lines.
took the pizza and shut the door as quickly as possable.

but i do have a male friend that i could take with me to the take out, i think that owuld make me more comfortable. if he knows that theres a male around may not be tempted to call back once he gets into trouble from his employer.

i know i should tell at lest the company, just getting the guts to do so. liek i said i suffer from anxity and things liek this are quite hard to do, i really dont liek confrontation.

Ok, I know exactly why you are scared to report this.

Fwiw last time this happened to me, I did report it - the boss came round and wanted to see the messages, I showed him. He said it would never happen again and the guy kept his job as he didn't have form for this sort of thing, which was good as it meant he behaved himself and didn't come round trying to intimidate me. I had changed my number though already so don't know if he stopped trying.

It all depends on luck really but if he wants to keep his job and they want to let him, that might work out for the best as then he has something to lose iyswim.

I would call the police on 101 and report it, so it is logged. They won't approach the guy unless you want them to. His company will though if you contact them.

Just eat won't do anything they are just a middle man, better to contact the take away also he wouldn't have had to go look for your mobile number - when a takeaway accepts an order the customer mobile number automatically prints at the bottom and generally this is the slip drivers are given. I know that even though we put our orders into the till we still give drivers customers numbers in case they get lost/no one answers the door.

But definitely contact the takeaway I know if this was one of our drivers they'd be out

iv talking to just eat. they agree its not on and are contacting the company and talking to the onwer of the shop.

shall see what happens, buti an feel anxity coming, and real sence of guilt that he could lose his job, even though lodgically i know he was in the wrong. does that make sence?

Please do not feel guilty. Protect yourself and your family. Always. You did the right thing. He knows your address and phone number. I would have done the same and report.

It happened to me after I called a mortgage broker. I was well freaked out as he know everything about me, address, birthdate, earnings, outgoings, etc. fortunately he never turned up.

Get a male friend to do your voice mail message and filter messages from unknown numbers?

If you're not happy with the manager response - I'd contact just eat again and use the 101 number to speak to the police.
