OP seriously get on to the police. She's being abusive and you've given her enough of your time and patience! Hope your DH is OK.

crashbangboom · 17/02/2014 22:32

what a nightmare for you. Hope you are OK.

Lj8893 · 17/02/2014 22:32

Jeez idiots. How did they leave it? Did they accept that they had no reason to be annoyed?

Arkina · 17/02/2014 22:33

Phone the police. Don't go into massive details just explain youre having an ongoing dispute with a neighbour and shes causing a disturbance. You can fill the background in when they arrive.

If shes calmed down Id call and ask for a community officer to pop round and see you and explain the situation tomorrow or when you feel up to it.

Just remember youre in the right here

Pipbin · 17/02/2014 22:33

They have had plenty of notice. I agree with calling 101 to log it.

Arkina · 17/02/2014 22:34

Ooops just seen its calmed down. Let's hope thats an end to it

scantilymad · 17/02/2014 22:35

Can none of your neighbours read?!? They have had so much notice. You are doing brilliantly OP and your DH is a star. Chin up and keep noting it all. Get the police to visit the whole lot if needs be!

Cuddlydragon · 17/02/2014 22:36

Thank goodness DS slept through it. I can't believe these people. Even if they didn't notice your warnings, I bet they noticed the rent reduction. Some people are just natural entitled arseholes. Hopefully that's it now, but I'd definitely let the letting agent know.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 17/02/2014 22:38

Hope that's the end of it x

TheseAreTheJokesFolks · 17/02/2014 22:46
Thanks Brew Cake Wine

hope it all works out from here mrs C!
hopefully you will get planning permission sooner rather than later and can
start getting the diggers in. Once you have started landscaping, aside from your own spaces of course, then it will finally hit them all you wanted to extend and may not smart so much.
in the meantime try and relax and mile and wave mrs C, smile and wave...

as for loony binlady

WeAreDetective · 17/02/2014 22:55

Wow! Hope you are ok. Very upsetting x

wowfudge · 17/02/2014 22:55

Mrsd - poor you after all that. How can these people claim not to know the situation? Hope you are okay Thanks

BlackeyedSusan · 17/02/2014 22:58

oh goodness. is this the couple who had two parking spaces and kicked off in the original thread?

deep breathes and keep calm. keep that blood pressure down

Jux · 17/02/2014 23:22

O.M.G. I can't believe the cheek of these tenants. What are they on? They all ahd notice ages ago. Why do they seem to think that it doesn't apply to them? I am just Shock at the utter unbelievable stupidity. They are small minded bullies.

Complain to the LL and the LA. get their cards marked. No LA will want them as tenants if that is their general attitude to the people around them.

I bet they and BL hatched some sort of plan of defiance together, thinking they would cow you into submission so they get their rent cut and parking spaces.

Do not let them get away with it. They are insufferable.

Mrsdavidcaruso · 17/02/2014 23:32

Thanks for the support DH is going to speak to the letting agent he is furious at the moment he wants me and DS to go to my parents until it all dies down we shall see I would rather stay here

OP posts:
ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 17/02/2014 23:35

Sounds to me like the notice from LL or LA wasn't clear enough. I just find it hard to believe they are all so completely unreasonable. Did you see the communication that was sent to the tenants?

Zucker · 17/02/2014 23:37

Well done for gettin it all sorted out OP. Cheek of them all having their rents reduced from the start of this month and STILL kicking off that they couldn't still park in their handy spots! Nowt as strange as folk.

QOD · 17/02/2014 23:39

Wow! Try not to get upset or stressed though, ugh

steppemum · 17/02/2014 23:42

You know at the beginning of this I felt a bit sorry for the tenants, as they had been stuffed by the LL over his use of the land, and because they paid over the odds for their flats in order to get parking and then lost that parking. (no criticism of OP, I am right behind you MrsDavid)

but then, they had 3 weeks notification of the end of parking places and REDUCTION in their RENT from 1st Feb because of the end of the parking and then they are kicking up stink because of the end of the parking. How can they not notice a reduction in their rent, and then think they can still park??

OddFodd · 17/02/2014 23:44

I'm not surprised he's furious! What a bunch of aggressive unpleasant bullies. I do think it would be worth logging the incidents with 101. I'm so sorry this must be so stressful for you

WinterDrawsOff · 17/02/2014 23:50

I'm staggered that the two people that shouted at your DH should feel in some way hard done by. They must be aware of the rent reduction, the letters from the LL and the LA etc. Did they honestly just expect to turn up this evening and park? Words fail. See sketch.

ChrisMooseAlbanians · 17/02/2014 23:56

Delurking to cheer you on OP and give your DH a big pat on the back. Your BIO is brilliant Grin

Definately speak to the LA. I think the time has come for you to build a really poncy gate into your land, you know, with a numbered keypad to get in, that'll show them Wink

ChrisMooseAlbanians · 17/02/2014 23:57

Bio? Bil

YouTheCat · 18/02/2014 00:08

Definitely log any incidents with police. They've had plenty of warning about the change of ownership.

Jux · 18/02/2014 00:08

I'd get cctv up there pronto.
