I do think it's worth mentioning her attitude to the letting agents though, especially as they've already been involved today.

fingers crossed it all calms down after this. Brew Cake

LadySybilVimes · 17/02/2014 19:15

Goodness! Some people are stupidly entitled aren't they?

I'm glad she's gone now but is it worth mentioning the exchange to the letting agents so that they know what went on?

I hope she doesn't give you any more bother. Cake

GiraffesAndButterflies · 17/02/2014 19:16

I'd be tempted to rent out parking spaces to every one of the neighbours except rude Bin Lady.

GrinGrin that's a fantastic idea Harpy

FrankelInFoal · 17/02/2014 19:17

Definitely report back to the LA about her verbal abuse. Glad it's all done and dusted now though Cake

KayleeFrye · 17/02/2014 19:20

Hooray for a successful end to this epic saga!

GiraffesAndButterflies · 17/02/2014 19:21

Glad BL has finally gone OP. Sorry she's caused you and your DH so much stress in the going though- hope you can enjoy your land now. Thanks

Clutterbugsmum · 17/02/2014 19:21

Glad she gone.

But report any further incidents to the LA as I suspect she won't go quietly and will do something else.

trixymalixy · 17/02/2014 19:29

What a nasty piece of work BL is. Glad the cars are gone now!Hopefully the nasty tenants will move on eventually.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 17/02/2014 19:30

Hurray for no cars!

Great news

Grin

Sorry she was such a cow. Bin Lady and my UW should get together and start a club.

Who are these people who want to use other people's property for free? We once owned a house with a path down the side of it. The path was out property and we kept our bins there, as did two of the neighbours. We went and asked them to stop putting them there. One neighbour started off saying she wouldn't move them, until we pointed out it wasn't just a path, it was our path, at which point she was extremely apologetic and moved them immediately. The other neighbour just refused point blank. We moved the bins, he moved them back. We moved them again. After a week or so he gave in, but he never spoke to us again and was really nasty and threatening at times.

Just weird.

WeAreDetective · 17/02/2014 19:33

FAntastic!!

Print out these threads and post them through her door!!

If you are reading... YOU ARE A FUCKING CHEEKY MARE!! Grin

Pipbin · 17/02/2014 19:39

I agree with your DH. As tempting as it is to have a go at her no one is going to win from that situation. All that will happen is bad feeling and high blood pressure. He did the right thing by being the bigger man and walking away.
Still, many if us here are not pregnant and care not for our blood pressure and are available to come round and shit through her letterbox.

PorkPieandPickle · 17/02/2014 19:48

Great result at last and glad your DH is sensible enough not to escalate things :)

YellowDinosaur · 17/02/2014 20:03

Fucking rude entitled bitch.

But yippee for result! :o

Jux · 17/02/2014 20:04

What a bitch. Sorry it ended like that. I do hope someone knows her in rl and points her at this thread.

Wouldn't it be lovely if you could buy lots more land, er, just around their flats?

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 17/02/2014 20:04

Agree that you should tell the LA about her behaviour.

Well done!

Ictoanntu · 17/02/2014 20:17

Agree get it logged with LA in case there is any further trouble. Great result.

WeAreDetective · 17/02/2014 20:19

OK. Sensible idea is to log it with the LA.

save posting a copy of the thread through her door for when you are next pissed on red wine

ExitPursuedTheRoyalPrude · 17/02/2014 20:20

Honestly. People just amaze me.

Mrsdavidcaruso · 17/02/2014 20:22

Well done your DH. I hope your BP comes right down now you've got this stress out of your life.

I agree that you should let the LA know how rude and vile she was being although I'm not surprised given her form.

Hope you and your bollards have many happy years together :)

onedev · 17/02/2014 20:57

Another who agrees with telling the letting agency! She's shocking!!

Laska42 · 17/02/2014 21:05

It'll all be in the County Press next week folks.. you can bet your life .. I'll look out for it .. You cant sneeze here without it being so ..

Mrsdavidcaruso · 17/02/2014 21:52

Tell me about it Laska I have had my mug in that rag a few times (Charity fund raising) don't want to see it again

OP posts:
inabeautifulplace · 17/02/2014 21:53

Good news then that the rent has been reduced, meaning someone else has taken a bit of responsibility. I think that your DH does have the right approach. Having had my car vandalised during a parking war I wasn't even bloody aware of, it's best to take the moral high ground. Hopefully the parking space is important enough to bin lady for her to move elsewhere.

fryingpantoface · 17/02/2014 21:59

He definitely did the right thing by walking away. I would certainly tell the LA about her kicking off
