DP and I used to play the CSI Miami drinking game. You have to have a drink any time DC:

  • Puts his hands on his hips
  • Reassures a child "we'll catch the guy who killed your parents"
  • Reads a line [off a cue card, did everybody else notice that stupid eye-roll thing he did?] that, by rights should have been said by somebody else (typically the coroner).
  • Slips his sunglasses down or off, in order to look significant.

We had to stop after a while because CSI:M was on a weeknight.

I liked him in Hudson Hawk, though.

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 15/02/2014 20:27

I'm secretly pleased that bin lady has been blocked in!

RustyBear · 15/02/2014 20:40

Bin lady will probably knock at 1 am....

TheWoollybacksWife · 15/02/2014 20:42

Is it just me that has an advert for a penguin bollard over there --> ?

Fairenuff · 15/02/2014 20:42

I also think she will knock at some awful hour just to cause you the most inconvenience she can OP.

isisisis · 15/02/2014 20:54

enriquetheringbearinglizard - do you work in advertising? If not you should. Smile

YellowDinosaur · 15/02/2014 20:55

Take the batteries out of your door bell if there are still cars there when you go to bed.

foslady · 15/02/2014 21:06

It's no good - I've lurked and lurked....

AND I DON'T WANT TO MISS BIN LADY!!!!!!!

Roseformeplease · 15/02/2014 21:13

Is it wrong that I am hundreds of miles away, waiting almost on the edge of my sofa for it to kick off on the IOW?

SadFreak · 15/02/2014 21:13

I reckon bin lady isn't planning on using her car all weekend in a bid to piss you off. I bet she knocks at 7am or earlier on Monday morning when she needs to get to work.

birdmomma · 15/02/2014 21:16

I also have an advert for a penguin bollard on my right now. Tee hee.

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 15/02/2014 21:19

isisisis no, I never have worked in advertising, but I'd like to. I'm currently wanting to style bin woman's wheelie with a sticky back plastic mini cooper decal Grin
.
.
.

and paint double yellows round it

fryingpantoface · 15/02/2014 21:35

Shamelessly marking my place

starfishmummy · 15/02/2014 21:38

Pedant we didn't do it with drinks but dh and I would play a little game to see how many of his stock poses dc did before the opening credits rolled!

Mrsdavidcaruso · 15/02/2014 21:41

No movement from any of the parked cars but the owner of one of the cars that had not been there when we raised the bollards came to our front door shouting the odds - when I looked out the window I saw he was the partner of the woman who had caused all the problems in the first place with the 'extra parking space'

Anyway he had a right go shouting and swearing DH told him to go away
as he was scaring his DS (DS was actually fast asleep) and he was going to call the police. So the guy left, not sure where his car is parked though
but its not on my land so don't really care
