Have been toiling in the kitchen all afternoon.
Neighbours NY party tonight.
DH has been for a long run and come back steaming and muddy.
Just been upstairs to him ASLEEP in bed.
No shower. Filthy clothes everywhere.

Oh and he has dismantled the bathroom this afternoon do a few
un-necessary DIY jobs......

Suggestions for suitable punishment please......

Kill him.

baskingseals · 31/12/2013 18:33

Shave off his eyebrows

Joysmum · 31/12/2013 18:34

Really?

He went for a run and fell asleep. It's still early. I think you are the one with the issues here. Way OTT

MrsKoala · 31/12/2013 18:34

Paint his toenails bright red and hide the remover. (this is a frequent punishment for sleeping Husbands/boyfriends in my house)

Travelledtheworld · 31/12/2013 18:36

joysmum he went for a sleep in our clean bed without having a shower or getting out of his stinking underwear and running shirt.

Will deffo make him change the sheets.....

He needs to fix the bathroom, have a shower, change the bedding and wash and iron the bed linen.

Joysmum - don't you think it is dirty to leap into bed all sweaty and dirty after a run? The bed your DW has to share with you later on? I certainly do!

grovel · 31/12/2013 18:37

Circumcise him. With a jubilee clip.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 31/12/2013 18:37

I would be so cross about the dirty bed, so so cross.

And why did he bugger off for a run before putting the bathroom back together, that is just common sense, surely?

Travelledtheworld · 31/12/2013 18:37

DoItTooBabyJesus · 31/12/2013 18:37

The beds gotta be changed? Easy. Throw water on him.

SilverApples · 31/12/2013 18:39

First, he gets clean. Even if that's a bucket wash.
Then he changes the bed and washes the linen, ready for you to collapse into after the party.
Finishes the jobs and leaves the bathroom sparkling.
That's not punishment though, it's just what should happen.
What, specifically is annoying you?

MrsKoala · 31/12/2013 18:44

I am particularly lax about DH doing things in the house by MN and anyones standards, but there are few things that give me the rage as much as when i snuggle down in my clean lovely bed and get a face full of BO from the edge of the duvet, where it has been nestled under an unwashed DH armpit Angry

SilverApples · 31/12/2013 18:52

I agree, one of the things I find appealing about my OH is the fact that he washes and showers regularly and smells clean. All over.
He realised a long time ago that it is directly linked to the amount of sex he gets. Xmas Grin

MrsKoala · 31/12/2013 18:54

Sadly DH is a sex camel. He wouldn't even notice the no sex in fact would be relieved i think Grin

Travelledtheworld · 31/12/2013 18:54

Sex camel?

OP posts:
Alibabaandthe40nappies · 31/12/2013 18:56

Can go months without it! Grin

Travelledtheworld · 31/12/2013 18:59

Actually mine too because he works overseas a lot.

Wallison · 31/12/2013 19:01

Write stuff on his face. If he doesn't go near a mirror before the party, so much the better. Maybe 'FUCKO' down his nose and then on his cheek 'FUCK HERE' with an arrow pointing to his ear. 'CUNT' across his forehead of course.

susiedaisy · 31/12/2013 19:04

Yanbu op. A half arsed job done in the bathroom. No help for you in the kitchen towards food that I assume he will enjoy as well. And then too lazy to put a towel on his side of the bed before he lays on it!!Angry

willyoulistentome · 31/12/2013 19:07

Hide ALL his clothes so he has to go to the party in the state he's in now.

Gossipyfishwife · 31/12/2013 20:15

Make him live with Joysmum.

Littlegreyauditor · 31/12/2013 20:18

Veet, on whichever hairs you feel particularly vexed with. Personally I would veet the middle of one eyebrow, but I can be mean when pushed.

ayahushca · 01/01/2014 22:12

It's his bed. He doesn't have to pass a hygiene test before he's allowed access to it. Ask him nicely not to do it right after a run again, he'll probably agree. But don't treat him like he's a criminal for taking a nap, he's perfectly entitled to do that. Even if he smells.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 01/01/2014 22:20

It isn't his bed, it is their bed! and therefore both of them should have consideration for the other one - and getting into the bed all stinky, sweaty and muddy is very inconsiderate, surely.

Sesquipedality · 01/01/2014 22:29

Nothing less than chilli on his bollocks will do.
