A lovely, friendly fat tabby cat sits in an alcove by my front door and waits for me. We share some lovely moments. I can't let him in though, can I, even if I don't give him dinner? Sad
Even though we're a bit in love...?

Do you know who he belongs to? Why don't ypou just pop round and say hello so they know he might be with you if they are wondering where he is.

You obviously have feelings for each other. I'd be tempted to see where the relationship goes............ This could just blossom into something beautiful.

RandomMess · 23/12/2013 21:26

As long as you don't feed him it's fine, cats need many homes Wink

5OBalesofHay · 23/12/2013 21:27

ORB. He's using you Grin

OctopusWrangler · 23/12/2013 21:28

Cats like to share the hairs love. Just don't feed him:)

5OBalesofHay · 23/12/2013 21:29

Or LTB as I thought i'd posted

WooWooOwl · 23/12/2013 21:29

Cats don't really have owners. Let him in if you want to. Especially if he's one of the ones that lives next door to me.

HECTheHeraldAngelsSing · 23/12/2013 21:30

Find out who thinks they own him and go round. Maybe you can negotiate some sort of timeshare. Grin

ClockWatchingLady · 23/12/2013 21:32

This is very exciting... If MN says I can, then I can!
I hope he doesn't lose interest when he realises he's only being asked in for coffee.

Sounds like ours. Great big meaty tabby with a purr like a motorcycle revving up? Ours is sulking after being refused a helping of chicken Grin

Fairylea · 23/12/2013 21:36

He is clearly a brazen hussy. Do not fall for his sly charms. He just wants to share his hairballs with you.

:)

PrimalLass · 23/12/2013 21:37

No. There is a huge thread on here about a cat-stealing neighbour.

Heartbrokenmum73 · 23/12/2013 21:38

If you'd said 'devastatingly handsome grey cat' I'd have answered:

I'm one of his people (the main one, I like to think) but beware because he's a complete tart and has many women on the go...

ClockWatchingLady · 23/12/2013 21:38

Yeah, turns out he's not bloody there now. You were right, 50bales.

My neighbour feeds one of my cats and I want to strangle the bitch sometimes. I had to go over and knock her door on bonfire night to see if he was there because I hadn't seen him for a whole day and I wanted to make sure he was inside when the fireworks started. He was.

'Oh, he won't go back out sometimes' she says - I want to say 'Don't let him in you silly bitch he's not your cat!'

RandomMess · 23/12/2013 21:39

I'm fascinated where my bloke tarts himself, I do wonder if he ever takes them presents are they are strictly for me...

ExitPursuedByAChristmasGrinch · 23/12/2013 21:41

Ooh cats. I miss mine.

ClockWatchingLady · 23/12/2013 21:43

No presents for me yet, but I'm holding out hope for Christmas

Next door have a kitten that pops to ours for lessons on being a cat from my big gingers. This mainly consists of pinching a biscuit, thwacking the tail of the youngest ginger then smugly sitting next to me for half an hour winding him up before vanishing again.

seafoodudon · 23/12/2013 21:44

Please let him in. Every cat in your house in one less in my garden.

OctopusWrangler · 23/12/2013 21:45

The gingers have a lady who walks her dog past the gate every day trained to bring them a cat treat. Hussies, brazen too!

ClockWatchingLady · 23/12/2013 21:49

Right Mr Tabby, MN has made me wise to your ways. I'll be checking your Facebook profile tonight.
