Road rage this time of year

Please tell me what I was doing wrong. I was in one of these covered multi-storey car parks this morning and I pulled out of my parking space to leave. Before I drove to the exit signs (ramp down) I saw a car coming from the storey above also trying to get to the ramp down to the exit. I stopped and let her go first.
The fucking bitch shook her head at me! Shock
Can't see what I did wrong tbh Hmm

how do you now that she was shaking her head at you?
She could have been listening to the radio.

Damnautocorrect · 23/11/2013 13:54

I hate things like this, you replay it and replay it but at every turn you know you did nothing wrong. If your like me this will bother you for weeks, and you'll wish you got out and went 'what, what did I do?'

Tanfastic · 23/11/2013 13:57

You probably did nothing wrong. Some arsehole once pulled out in front of me and I braked to avoid hitting him and beeped my horn at the same time. He gave me the finger Confused.

Some people are just tits, forget it.

bimbabirba · 23/11/2013 13:57

Erm no, she wasn't listening to the radio! she looked straight at me and shook her head

Tanfastic · 23/11/2013 13:58

Who the fuck shakes their head listening to the radio? What?

WestmorlandSausage · 23/11/2013 14:07

i shake my head at people who drive too fast in small enclosed spaces

but i'm sure you weren't if you stopped to let someone past

WestmorlandSausage · 23/11/2013 14:09

I also shake my head listening to the radio frequently. There are a lot of guest on Radio 4 I disagree with

bimbabirba · 23/11/2013 14:09

I just wish I could park the act and not drive it until January

OP posts:
bimbabirba · 23/11/2013 14:09

*park the car

Tanfastic
"Who the fuck shakes their head listening to the radio? What?"

Wow, its not only music you know, they have debates and news programs as well.

Eastwickwitch · 23/11/2013 16:35

DH does that head shaking thing, often when he knows he's in the wrong. Could be that she was a bit ashamed of her driving?
of course DH is never in the wrong, it's just all the other road users

Tanfastic · 23/11/2013 16:46

Bonesback - wow. Really?

Op - it may be that you hesitated without realising it and she shook her head in frustration or something. A bit like when you are walking down the street and you go to move out of the way of someone and they go to move the same way and you end up doing a bit of a dance - if that makes sense. Please don't let it out you off driving Smile

Tanfastic · 23/11/2013 16:47

*put you off driving.

confusedwwyd · 23/11/2013 16:49

Was it a one way system in the car park and you didn't realise you were going the wrong way? People do that in our work car Park all the time. I shake my head at em. It wasn't me though.

BoneyBackJefferson · 23/11/2013 16:52

Tanfastic

Yes, there are some really good stations once you've grown up and moved away from radio 1.

Tanfastic · 23/11/2013 16:57

BoneyBackJefferson · 23/11/2013 16:59

Grin Smile Grin

Sorry OP

Tan thank you Grin

MistAllChuckingFrighty · 23/11/2013 17:14

what has the time of year to do with it ? Confused

Unless they were playing Cliff Fucking Richard on the radio ? I would shake my head at that.

bimbabirba · 23/11/2013 20:46

Wasn't a one way system. There was no other way for me to go to exit!

OP posts:
bimbabirba · 23/11/2013 20:48

Shaking her head while listening to the radio and looking at the other driver that has just given her way sounds a tad unrealistic!

OP posts:
unlucky83 · 23/11/2013 21:04

I do the head shaking when I know I've messed up. Should have given way and didn't, misjudged something. I'm shaking my head at myself...done it for years and only just realised that actually it looks to other drivers that I am shaking my head at them Blush ...maybe that is what she was doing?
Oh just realised that she forgot to buy something ...and looking at you at the same time was coincidence...
Might even be sitting at home thinking that poor woman in the car park -she must be wondering what that was all about - or maybe not

Zarazog · 23/11/2013 21:15

I like road rage. I always up the ante!

Zarazog · 23/11/2013 21:16

Just to clarify I never start the road rage incident, but I do not back down (unless son in car and then I act grown up)

MistAllChuckingFrighty · 23/11/2013 21:43

that sounds like dangerous shit, zog Hmm

Zarazog · 23/11/2013 22:21

I just hate road bullies. Like when they get real close behind me and flash their lights, even though I am driving at the speed limit. I slam my brakes on, it scares the crap out of them.
