DH bought a bag of chocolates to share tonight. He decided to open them earlier on in the day so we both had some. Me a bit more than I should have. Ended up being three left apparentlt!! Now hes sulking and making a huge deal about it. He'll keep it going a couple of days for sure!! Saying things like "whats wrong with you?!" "Why would you do that?!"
I know i maybe should have restrained myself.... But jeez!!! Lighten the fuck up theyre only chocs!! Not like I killed someoneHmmHmmHmm

You both are bu.

CocacolaMum · 17/11/2013 21:14

Drip feeder, what kind of chocs?

Ruffcat · 17/11/2013 21:16

I hate it when people sulk for days, he should have been honest and just said that he wanted them all

manticlimactic · 17/11/2013 21:17

I'd eat the rest. Give the miserable fucker something to moan about.

CaptainSweatPants · 17/11/2013 21:18

He'll keep it going for a couple of days???? Over chocolate????
He could go out & buy some more right now!
Jeez what a child he is!

and you're a greedy mare

bouncysmiley · 17/11/2013 21:19

So he did something nice and you ate most of them? He was right to be peeved, but not to keep banging on about it. You are both bu.

crabbiepattie · 17/11/2013 21:20

Caramel chocolate buttons!!

Feeling rather guilty and gluttonous now Hmm

Ill buy him a packet back tomorrow. I cant stand his moods!!

bundaberg · 17/11/2013 21:23

oh my dp does stuff like this all the time and it really, really, really fucking pisses me off.

it's the lack of consideration (esp when it happens frequently) and then the subsequent dismissal of my opinion ("oh it's only chocolate" "we can get more")

if i buy something to share I expect to get my bloody share!

Financeprincess · 17/11/2013 21:23

Thanks for the laugh, Manticlimactic.

What an eejit! Sulking over sweeties! Buying him more probably is the line of least resistance, I'm sorry to say.

fiftyandfab · 17/11/2013 22:29

ffs is this the extent of your worries? lucky people!

TurnOffTheTv · 17/11/2013 22:32

Is this one of those grab bag type things? I'd be fucked off as well you greedy bugger!

ImperialBlether · 17/11/2013 22:52

It would piss me off if I'd bought something for myself and someone else ate it, but you say he bought it to share?

What % did you and he eat?

WorraLiberty · 17/11/2013 23:01

He shouldn't be sulking for days obviously (really??)

But you were greedy and that would piss me off too.

SkinnybitchWannabe · 17/11/2013 23:03

No no no dont buy him more! Let him sulk like a knob oh and definitely eat the rest.

RhondaJean · 17/11/2013 23:12

Caramel drops? The Cadbury ones? And you let him near them?

Good lord the man has no idea. I'd bite DHs arm off if he tried to get near them when I had them in the house.

Purplefrogshoe · 17/11/2013 23:13

He is bu, just buy yourself more and keep them hidden, where do you buy caramel buttons? I need some of those

UnicornsNotRiddenByGrownUps · 17/11/2013 23:14

You would give me the rage.

Chocolate is sacred, especially if you are self controlled to keep it until later.

You are also being inconsiderate.

But your DP a new bag of chocolate and keep your grubby mitts of that bag.Hmm

Goldmandra · 17/11/2013 23:16

But your DP a new bag of chocolate and keep your grubby mitts of that bag.hmm

Buy two for yourself at the same time Grin

StrawberryGashes · 17/11/2013 23:18

Just how much more than him did you have?

holidaysarenice · 17/11/2013 23:19

Buy about twenty bags and scatter them around the bed, car etc!!

elfycat · 17/11/2013 23:20

And this is why I share everything out equally into bowls before we start if there's an odd number the odd one is mine in payment for counting them out

Don't get me started on how DH 'shares' a bottle of wine!

RhondaJean · 17/11/2013 23:34

Elfy my DH sits the glasses next to each other and measures them out!

I'mmore of a first in wins girl, tbf he is much faster than me with food so he wins more often than not.

Goldmandra · 17/11/2013 23:41

Like my sister who shares out the end of the bottle between her glass and any other - one glassful for her and then profuse apologies for the 'misjudgement' that meant there only being three drops left for the other glass. Every single time.

KissesBreakingWave · 17/11/2013 23:42

Caramel Chocolate Buttons?

Spouses have been buried under patios for less.

pumpkinsweetie · 17/11/2013 23:44

You were both bu, you for being greedy & him for being childish, and you also bu for making me want chocolate at this hourGrin
